Hotel Guarracino

Location was great. It is in a hill so get ready to hike up. Staff is amazing! Room is okay and property.

Shower head didn’t have much water coming out of it. Toilet smelled a bit so we kept bathroom door shut most of the time.

Location was great, staff was wonderful

It’s a bit of a steep walk to the main road. We had luggage service when we left but we did not know to reserve it for arrival.

It was pretty easy to get to and close to Piazza Umberto. The staff was very attentive!

There were tiny ants in the bed that we saw on the last night there. Not sure where they came from or if they were there the 3 days we stayed.

The room was clean and nicely decorated.

No pool.

Vincenzo! The property was fine but the assistance / advice provided by Vincenzo made our trip much more enjoyable. He is knowledgeable and professional. He works very hard juggling multiple jobs with graciousness.

Not much of a view but understandable given the price.

Absolutely nothing, Super expensive, super far away from the beach, super secluded, very, very tiny inside no kitchen, staff barely speaks English, no communication. The breakfast was bad. Just everything was terrible honestly.

Everything, the hotel itself I guess the people the atmosphere the room, the lack of communication all of it. Worst experience I have ever had staying anywhere in my entire life. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER DO NOT STAY HERE!!! HOTEL STAFF n just EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLEEEE!!! if i could give zero stars I would in an instant…. i stayed and went to multiple different hotels as well as Airbnb’s in Italy and this was the worst by far. they even have the maids come and clean your room while you are not there (EVEN THOUGH WE CLEARLY LOCKED IT) before we even checked out (was day 1 of three days there) and stuff went missing… They then refused to answer any questions communicate help me, and even later when I try to contact them again give me a call back… worst decision ever could not recommend ever. seriously, do not stay here. u will regret it.

The hotel is perfectly positioned between the best beach (free) at Marina Piccalo (12mins walk) and the main square (about 6min walk). The staff, in particular Vincenzo and Federica, were very helpful and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Although the rooms were nice and clean and double room was a decent size, the price was very high for what was a very basic hotel. Guess that’s Capri! Toilet didn’t work (even after repeatedly asking someone to check it) and shower was extremely small.

Superb

Shower is basically open. Water everywhere. No shelves in the box. Shampoo and soap need to be laid on the floor. No hangers for towels.

The staff were very friendly. Federica and Vincenzo were both very helpful and kind. The morning coffee was very good.

My room was a bit small but good value for the cost.

Beautiful decor, very friendly staff and a good choice for breakfast. About a 5 minute walk from Capri town.

Nothing in the hotel but Google maps said it was a 450m flat walk to the beach.... It was about a 30 minutes walk down a very steep hill with a lot of steps!!

Very friendly staff, good location for us, clean and comfortable. The fact that you can walk into Capri town, and down to Piccolo marina. Good breakfast on the terrace.

There are steps and a slope to get to the property, we have become quite used to this now, so not a problem, but for some I can see it would be!

Capri is an expensive destination. This small hotel( only 10 rooms) is a perfect location if you want to be in the heart of Capri. Ample breakfast to suit every taste

Bathroom need an update. Shower by any standard is tiny and signs of black mold. My friends room had a better bathroom. A little bit of a hard walk if you have alot of luggage.

Walk down stairs and path to get to the property (which is at most hotels in Capri). Bed was hard

The staff were really kind and helpful. Location is great, walking distance from city centre and from the beach

The building is a bit old, the wall are not soundproof so is kind of hard to sleep because you heard everything that is happening outside or in the other rooms

Some utilities were provided.

They could not provide even 1 prepared food to cater to our dietary needs after promising us that they would as we had opted for breakfast for both days of our stay. The property is difficult to reach especially if you have luggage bags and they charge heavily for carrier services to even reach the main road.

Perfect stay, kind staff, good breakfast, excellent location.

Disliked hotel. Room was not as represented on website. We had to leave and get new reservation elsewhere. Room was old and smelly. Extremely disappointed and demand refund.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly and accommodating staff, delicious breakfast and wonderful views from the patio and room balcony.

The room could use some upgrades with updated furnishing and decor and paint (lots of visible cracks). The common spaces seemed more modern, while the room needed some TLC.

The property is in a great location to town. The room wasn’t ready when we got there but we were able to leave our stuff while we explored which was nice! The staff were friendly and the view from the hotel was amazing!

Directions to the hotel took us to the wrong spot so that was confusing. The hotel location on the map appears to be different than the exact address. But we found it nonetheless!
