Be prepared to walk. If you bring luggage pay at the port to be brought to the hotel. If you can’t do stairs please chose a different place.

Alex was very helpful and communicative in directing us to our accommodation. As our ferry was not till late afternoon, we were able to sit in the dinning room with a gorgeous view after we checked out . Room is very clean and we love the hot shower. Breakfast was great. Love the coffee.

This was the most perfect location to stay at! About a 10 minute walk to the main center of capri. Our host was incredible and provided clear instructions on how to get to the hotel. He even went as far as to booking the porters for our luggage back to the ferry. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. They also provided a nice breakfast for us in the morning. Would absolutely stay here again for our next visit to capri.

Small hotel with a beautiful view over Capri and a very friendly host who provided lots of personalized recommendations. Breakfast with the view was a treat.

The beds were uncomfortable.

The view is stunning, and Alex and the staff are very kind and friendly. They gave us lots of tips on how to make the most of our time in Capri. The location is also a big plus, close to the city center, but away from the crowds of tourists. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise: very delicious, with plenty of options, even for me as someone who is lactose intolerant. A super plus, 10 out of 10!

The fact that we need to walk 15 minutes to get to town center and the difficulty of getting the luggage delivered to hotel …. It was a nice experience overall.

We truly loved our stay. Alex was the best host we've ever met. He explained the best places to visit in Capri and Anacapri, and I believe that without this information, our tour wouldn't have been so complete in such a short time (only one night). We went to the right places and saw the island's main tourist attractions. The property has a magnificent landscape, making our stay worthwhile. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was very cozy and pleasant. We truly loved the hotel and our host, Alex.

A bit far from the center but a very nice walk.

Room was very nice, it was the only place we stayed in 2 weeks in Italy that had the room cool upon arrival. The gentleman at the front desk had exceptional customer service and the breakfast was our favorite out of our entire 2 week stay at about 7 different locations. There was an issue with the hot water running out quickly however, it was so hot at it didn't really bother us too much. There are almost no steps but there is a steep incline from the center to the hotel. If I had to do it again I would not have bothered with a porter going to the room, we didn't use one going down it was a breeze. However, if you have a large suitcase you will need a tick for the the fenicular for each large bag.

It’s very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good and included. We loved our stay. The view from the terrace is beautiful.

La Reginella has all of the charms of an old style hotel. It's intimate, very well maintained, and quiet. The European style breakfast included a large variety of pastries, cheese, and fruit (all perfectly ripe every day). Our patio had chaise lounges and a stunning view of the island and sea. And the bed was comfortable!If you are considering the apparent distance from the center of town, it is not far to walk (6-8 min down, 15-20 min back up) and there are some restaurants peppered along the tiny streets closer to the hotel. Just be sure to get a porter to bring your bags up from the marina. Climbing hills is part of island life in Capri.Our host Alex was a true professional, as humble a gentleman as he is worldly. With travel arrangements being taken over by mediocre booking apps and agencies this place is a breathe of familiar and much appreciated fresh air.

The hotel is so neat and the staff so accommodating there is nothing I can think of to improve on.

A lovely place to stay on Capri, breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast room has a lovely view to enjoy whilst eating. Alex our host was very welcoming and helpful, we would love to visit again.

This is my second time here and the Location is amazing ,beautiful view from breakfast room and room terrace. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious and Alex is a perfect host

There’s nothing to complain about.

We had a lovely time at La Reginella Capri! It felt like a bit of a walk but once we experienced the breakfast on the terrace with the ocean and mountain view, it made the walk way worth it! The room was very comfortable and it had all the amenities and the bathroom was so clean and has a modern design. We glad we stayed here. Also, Alex, the owner is so helpful and kind. I think he’s one of the best attributes of this place.

It was so lovely, cozy and comfortable! Alex is really very detailed oriented and we could feel that he enjoys attending the people. Breakfast was GREAT! The location is lovely, close to the Arco Natural, with good hiking paths around, and an easy walk to the piazzeta. Also, Alex shares really good information about what to do and restaurants to visit… We were two girls and felt so welcomed and comfortable. Thank you so much Alex and team!

Wonderful host Alex, helpful at every step of the process including before arrival and during our stay, helpful responses including restaurant recommendations. The family room was with lovely garden terrace with orange tree and great views. Room even had kitchenette, perfectly proportioned and with the most comfortable beds, sheets and pillows ever! Perfect bathroom too.

As a general comment, Capri town is on foot only and as there is an uphill inclination to walk to hotel for those with impaired mobility it may be a challenge.
