Relais Maresca Luxury Small Hotel & Terrace Restaurant

The hotel very nice with the Oceanview.

Staff was rude and not helpful to me and my family. She works at the front desk. She did apologize when we were checking out and I appreciate that.

Luxurious, quiet, central, and helpful staff.

Location is nice, near the ferry terminal and close to the sea side. Plenty of resturants within 3 minutes walk. The manager is a nice guy who is willing to share his tips for tourists to explore Capri.

The trade-off for convenience is probably the traffic noise, and the sound-proofing from the room door can be improved.

Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was always so helpful and kind! We had dinner in the hotel one night and the food was delicious. The location is great if you want to stay in the marina area. Close to the funicular and bus and ferry stations.

Everything was great, I just did not realize I was in the marina and not in the city center. The hotel is lovely and the staff is amazing!

So convenient coming from Sorrento with a big bag each. Someone met us as we came off ferry. Lovely room with great terrace overlooking the activity on the waterfront.

Restaurants around hotel were exceptionally high priced for marginal food. Hotel restaurant also very pricy.

The hotel is right on Marina Grande the main ferry port area to enter the island of Capri. At first is good to arrive and be right there just a climb of some steps or an uphill road to reach the hotel. But soon you realize is so hard to get from there everywhere else if you don’t time the taxi time because the lines get huge and long in the sun full of all the day trippers that come in the big ferries from amalfi/ Naples etc or people with luggage trying to transfer into the main center of the island or anacapri. The buses are right in front of the hotel and the funicular beside it but also gets super packed in summer and you have to go super squeezed in there with everyone. Taxis are €25 to the center and they are most comfortable way to move around but prepared to wait sometimes there’s no taxis coming down to this part of the island at all. Hotel tried many times calling them directly for us to be able to make to our reservations but they don’t even answer the hotel. The breakfast was ok nothing amazing or to remember. The staff in the other hand is super attentive and nice. Our room was kept spotless! And the space for 4 was good. It gets extremely hot in capri in June so the air conditioning of the room is very important and this could be improved.Is best to stay around the center easy to reach eveything or other areas of the island for a stress free experience.

We loved the room. It was very spacious for 3 guests. The location was perfect and central. Easy walk to the funicular.

The Relais Maresca is a little slice of heaven in gorgeous Capri! This was my second time staying there and I love it because everything is top-notch. The manager, Antonio, remembered me at check-in and welcomed me back to my Caprese house. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is warm, friendly and very attentive to your needs. Breakfast is amazing with lots of delicious choices, and it’s served on a terrace with stunning views. My friend and I loved being steps from the ferries, restaurants and shops- it’s the perfect location.

I hated that I had to leave! I can’t wait to come back again.

The room balcony was looking onto the air conditioning zone, and where stall had their cigarette brake so the smell of tabaco was anoying

In general it just didnt feel very "luxury", it is quite basic, don't expect anything fancy

The hotel is in a great location; it is a walking distance from the port, shops, and restaurants. The breakfast is great with many variety of options that would appeal to guests from around the world. The sea view is exceptional from the restaurant, room, and from the room balcony. The host and staff are very friendly and professional. The host was caring and there is a host 24 hours a day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the manager, Antonio, even provided an introduction to the hotel and island. The location was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a more central place to stay. Additionally, the breakfast and dinner on terrace was so nice as well! I loved our private room terrace as well!

Excellent location!! The Manager Antonio and the staff were extremely helpful from beginning to end. As soon as we arrived in the morning and considering our stay was for one night, they explained to us all things to do, give us the room before check in time and within minutes they helped us to book a private boat to go around the Island!!! We arrived at 9 am and at 11 am we were on the boat, nice!!! As soon as we arrived from the boat trip we found a bottle of prosecco in our room, a gift from the Manager. By the way the staff made us a reservation at Da Paolino, a great restaurant. Antonio thanks for everything!!! Will see you again.

My husband and I stayed at Relais Maresca for our honeymoon. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! First of all, the location is perfect - right in Marina Grande so it is walking distance from the harbor. It's also next to the ticket center, to the Funicolare, bus stations, and taxies so it was easy to get anywhere we needed to go on the island. A public beach and beach club are also just a short walk down from the hotel. The views from the hotel are spectacular as it faces Marina Grande. The staff at the hotel were incredible - all of them from the manager, to the front desk/concierges, restaurant staff, and cleaning service were committed to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As the end of our stay, the bellhop even helped us to carry our baggage to the ferry port. Everyone was very hospitable and friendly. We felt very well taken care of! We really enjoyed the restaurant as well - the selection of Italians breads and cakes at breakfast time were impressive! You could smell them baking so we knew they were fresh and homemade.The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean with a lovely terrace to enjoy the sea view (we highly recommend choosing a room with a view!). Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Capri! It's so worth it!

The hotel is on the more expensive side. Capri itself is very expensive. Even water is 6 euros a bottle so it is definitely a pricey trip.Bring bug spray as there are mosquitoes on the terrace.
