The staff was very friendly and the location and views are 10/10.

Hotel was great outside of cleanliness - bathroom was pretty filthy even though it had been cleaned. The bed was also super uncomfortable and the towels felt like sandpaper.

Beautiful location on Capri. Loved the room. Pool and beach areas along with the service was great. There was an issue with our reservation but Kevin worked with us to improve the situation. Kevin was super to work with. He made a scary situation work out in the end.

Lots of downhill to get there

Mattress was not the most comfortable. Pretty scenery although our stay it wasn’t good weather.

What can I say, the place of dreams. The location of this hotel overlooking the bay was just incredible. The peace and tranquility was just beautiful. Staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay. Our room was a little basic but had everything we needed in it, and actually it led to the character of the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional and the waiting staff were just amazing.

Maybe the rooms could do with a little updating.

no transfer from the port, waited for 45 minutes for a taxi. bus was not an option as I was carrying a heavy suitcase and even if I have taken the bus I would have to switch it at capri to another, too much of a hustle. no tea/coffee facility in the room. the restaurant works only for breakfast and lunch, lunch was pricy with tiny portions. i went to the cafe nearby and was quite happy with food and service. overall, i think the cost per night is expensive and it is not a high season yet.

I don’t think there is a better view anywhere! The views from our room (Gracie) was spectacular!

The air conditioning didn’t get below 78 degrees which was not great sleeping conditions. On top of that, there was a scheduled event with super loud music directly above us. The toilet seat was broke, the advertised mini bar had nothing in it, and the bathroom window wouldn’t close all the way. The breaker on the air conditioner popped upon trying to turn it on. You can utilize the breaker panel located between the bathroom and the rooms. There were no amenities in the room except the hanging blow dryer. No coffee machine or iron.

We loved, loved, loved everything about Canzone Del Mare! You feel transported back in time to the 1950s (in a good way) and the location is truly spectacular. Our room was clean and very comfortable - and the view out onto the ocean was just incredible (we stayed in room Sophia). The furniture and decor is more old school, as to be expected, but for the price you pay it is more than we could have asked for. You get a free day pass to the beach club for each night booked at the property - we stayed two nights so could use the pool on two of our three days (we didn't use it on our final day as we had an early ferry). There's also direct access to the sea and you receive a welcome cocktail on arrival (any choice from the menu).Marina Piccola is so much more peaceful than Capri town or Marina Grande, yet still so close and easy to travel in so you get the best of both worlds. Just outside the property there is a public bus stop and there's a bus into Capri town every 15 minutes (the journey only takes 10 minutes) until about 8pm (after that they run every hour) and a single ticket is about three euros.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit intermittent - but the temperature was hot and this really wasn't a major isuse.

The location is outstanding and the breakfast each morning delicious. The pool is salt water from the ocean which is divine!

The bus stop is a little distance, however very manageable.

The shower was not working and the water was very light... However, they did not inform us that there was a private party at the swimming pool and that it was booked... and they had nothing to do except the swimming pool... because the beach was very dangerous and full of rocks.

Location and history of the villa

We couldn't use the pool restaurant or lounges al day because they had a very large loud private pool party.We would not have paid to stay the extra night there if we were told.

This is just an amazing experience , the location is wonderful just few steps from Marina Piccola , it’s a magical place that you can’t get bored of ,the staff were so nice and welcoming , as a solo traveler I asked to have some photos and they did it nicely , the welcome drink were nice and refreshing my room had a balcony and direct sea view , the facilities and the sunbeds areas were amazing also the staff there were nice and helpful . The breakfast were included and rich the gentleman who served were so nice and welcoming .

The room furniture even it’s antica and adding a value to the idea of the resort but still it’s having little spiders, the cupboard smell moldy, the fact that I checked out but didn’t got a towel because I used the beach it’s lit bit annoying !

Breath taking view from very private terrace, directly at seaside. Quiet and calm amid so much highlights of Capri.

The location is exceptional. The pool and access to the sea were lovely. The staff were helpful and polite.

Only the difficulty of getting a taxi from the port on arrival with luggage. If the property had a car to collect visitors and to return them to the port at the end of their stay it would be perfect.

Words can't describe the location. Absolutely breath taking, have never enjoyed a swim more in my life. Very easy to access with buses. Just so beautiful. Would recommend staying here to anyone

Breakfast was bare minimum. No buffet. A box of cereal n eggs. No fruits, muffins or yogurt

Access to beach area was allowed only once during our stay. Why this restrictions?This was a birthday celebration, a small pastry or something could have made it special. No efforts were made.

Great location and friendly staff

The place is very dated, the facilities are bad. Staff leaves at 8pm so from then on you are on your own. You can't even get ice. The only person on site is at the gate. Place really needs a facelift

The location was great and the views were spectacular. Waking up to see the calm blue water and the magnificent famous Faraglioni rock formations along the high clifs was just something else. Very special place that certainly won't be forgotten. No one believed that we didnt use photoshop to saturate the colours on our photos, it is just a magical place that has to be seen at least once in a life time. Even if the hotel is not a five star, the staff would certainly make you feel like it is aspecially Gennaro who provided us whith royal treatment and made us feel very special every morning and our lifeguard who gave us a recomendation of a nice viewing point "Belvedere Tragara" which he deserves a star for.

The only thing that was a bit of a downside was the room was very humid and there were signs of mould in the corner of the room as well as the shower low water pressure.

Great location and staff were great. The food was lovely and room was lovely some updating needed but it actually added to the charm
