Hotel Punta Tragara

This hotel was absolutely fabulous!!! The service was outstanding!!! The view is breathtaking!!! The location is away from the hustle & bustle with a 15 minute walk to the square & hike to the beach clubs below(steep) LOVED IT!!! 5 Star+. Will return!!!

This was an exceptional hotel. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the grounds and both pools. We had requested two rooms close together as my husband and I were traveling with our daughter, her husband and their 1 and 2 year old babies. When we checked into our rooms we were surprised, in both of our rooms, that the staff welcomed us with a lovely welcome hand written note, Champagne, and a chocolate cake, to celebrate our 35 th and our daughter's 5 th wedding anniversaries. That was very thoughtful and we really appreciated the gesture. We were very grateful for our rooms being side by side so we were able to help watch the babies whenever needed. We loved our large terrace to enjoy the outdoors and was great for the babies to have space to crawl and run around, and the terrace looked over the pool area. The breakfast was fabulous. Great selection every day and a nice menu to order food as well which was included. We also enjoyed the included Prosecco with fresh juices. We ate lunch here one day and the pizza by the pool was delicious. We also had dinner in the bar pool area and it was also very good.

We stayed at Punta Traga for our anniversary, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay feel very special.The rooms were modern, stylishly decorated, and very comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable occasion.We left feeling very happy and grateful for the experience. Punta Traga is a place we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for both comfort and genuine hospitality.

Location and Views

Went to the don’t worry bar. And we ordered 4 drinks. They charged us 160 euros per shot. For a shot we didn’t ask for. We paid it but wow the bar staff just broke the record. Just under 1000 euros for 4 shots, i queried it which I never normally do but no way to prove it

The views from the property are stunning. Location is key.The hotel is spotless and very well maintained. The rooms have all the facilities you need ie well stocked bathroom accessories, minibar and walk in wardrobe.The staff are very attentive.

Nothing that I didn’t like but I say that the spa treatments are highly priced for what they are and then suggested tipping in addition.

Given the price level of the hotel, charging EUR 20 per piece of luggage at arrival and at departure seems rather bold.

The manicure and pedicure is the worst, waste of moneyThe room service charge is ridiculous (350€ for fruits and some water)The other receptionist who welcomed me while showing the room was jabbering as if he has just memorized the script and left the impression that he wanted to be done with me and leave ( the point of treating the guest as a 5* hotel was missing here )No complimentary sunscreen or mineral water sprays at the pool unlike what top hotels provide.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations! The best location on the island, the view is stunning. The hospitality is 5 stars, both the reception staff and the bar and restaurant staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, the food and cocktails are impeccable. Special thanks to Roberto. We will definitely be back!:)

a beautiful and luxury hotel located in one of the most beautiful places of capri island. Very calm and relaxing. Ideal as base for knowing the island. Staff very professional and always attentive to customer needs. Great food (which is not always easy to find in capri) and great bartender service.

Nothing to mention

Breakfast was nice. I loved the view. The welcome service was nice.

The room did not look like a 5 star hotel. We felt like it was a motel. The furniture was very outdated. The TV was also very outdated. We were moved to a new renovated room that was slightly better. This property needs to be updated. It is also a hike to reach this hotel with no transfer available. You must arrive here by foot.
