Hotel Scalinatella

Julia at the front desk was just the nicest person on the planet. We only had 1 full day to see everything and she made us a map and helped achieve the most unbelievable day on Capri!!

sitting on the deck in our room at night was like a fairytale however on the second night the deck adjacent to ours had a man talking on speaker phone for two hours!!!!! So rude and selfish. Anyway the decks have no privacy from hearing other guests . The rooms, linens and pillows are heavenly

This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. Amazing location, pools were immaculate, and staff was great. The room was spotless and the view cannot be beat.

I do not like to over-hype things, but this hotel was among my favorite hotels I have stayed at, and my wife and I have stayed at some great properties. From the excellent service to the fantastic pool and hotel design and the quiet location a quick walk away from the main town, Hotel Scalinatella is the place to stay in Capri. Everything is spotless. The staff are kind, attentive, and courteous.

The hotel was beautiful and located close to city center. Service was great putting out clean towels twice a day. Hotel arranged our departure by purchasing ferry tickets and taking our luggage straight to the ferry.

Food and drinks were expensive at the hotel.

Scalinatella is located in a beautiful and quiet spot in Capri. The view is AMAZING. Our room was wonderfully appointed. The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. Breakfast was top notch. Highly recommend.

The staff were very welcoming and took good care of us, and helped with the private boat and ferry transportation!

I liked the decor, white building, blue tiles, moorish influences in the external architecture. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. You feel at ease as soon as you step into the property. This was our first visit to Capri and it is the only place i have visited that you have to walk to the property from the taxi drop off point near the square; but walking through the square and narrow streets lined with high end boutiques and shops was nice. We booked two rooms but were upgraded to a two bedroom suite with a huge terrace and stunning views over the Mediterranean.

We had a problem with the door to the suite; we had to wrestle with opening it. There was also the matter of no iron or steamer in the room for guest to use to freshen up their clothes and room service ends at 11:30 pm. Minor issues but i hope the management looks into proving steamers or irons in the rooms like many luxury hotels around the world.

One of the best hotel in Capri.Excellent service, very clean, all the members of the staff willing to help, gorgeous view , good breakfast and close to Piazza Centrale.

The room was nice with a beautiful view of the sea.

We were not particularly happy with the staff at reception.At this price rate we expected top quality service and that was not met unfortunately. The check-in experience was odd, asking us to wait for our turn in a not so friendly manner.We felt like strangers in the hotel, not as guests.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful property in the best location close to everything but away from the crowds. The staff and owner were so nice and helpful. Every need was attended to and they made it so easy for us with our luggage, ferry tickets, etc. First class service on every level. Room was spacious and lovely. It was a perfect stay.

Hard to find fault in anything. Maybe less bright light bulbs by bed would be good but everything was pretty much perfect.

This hotel was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I am sad I forgot the gentleman that assisted us with our check in. He was absolutely amazing. He called in a personal favour to get us a tour we had been struggling to get. The waiters, concierge, basically everyone was just incredible. The facilities at the hotel were good.

Amazingly beautiful Hotel. Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff who for my birthday surprised me with a room upgrade, cake with candle after dinner and sang happy birthday! We were welcomed to enjoy the pool and facilities after check out too. An incredible stay.

Amazing beutieful hotel , the room with a Garden and the terassa with view , the staff was very friendly breakfast deligios everything was WOW !!!

The Scalinatella is a romantic and wonderful place to stay, specially for couplrs that ar looking for tranquility and great servicio. The staff was very attentive and friendly all time. Tito, Marco and the concierge that made all arrangements for us were great.

Fabulous staff, wonderful rooms, and a location with the most of this work view. Loved it ❤️

Breakfast. Very limited. The fruit were not ripe and bad quality. Most hotels have better breakfast options

Location is near the town centre. Staff are attentive, and remembered my coffee and breakfast order

Dated decorUpkeep of rooms is not goodSmall but big thing for my wife; no iron for ‘safety reasons’ yet then when we were told we could have someone iron they charged us. Don’t fall for that trick!

The location is great, just few minutes walk to the square , but very calm , they gave us a great suite as a free upgrade, we felt very special . Beautiful view from the terrace for breakfast , service was really 5 star, very boutique and personal. Tonino welcome us with the great surprise of the upgrade , he was very professional and the owner as well was there all the time to be sure that the clients have a good experience and service. Great value for the price!

No spa

The location was excellent. Far removed from the crowds with great views! Lovely pool and exceptional restaurant as well
