    The room was comfortable.

No spa services, staff were unfriendly, "thermal" pool felt unclean.

    7LauraPosted on: 8-27-2025

Very good spa with great selection of pools and saunas!

It looks like the hotel used to be very luxurious, but it really needs some renovation works now - the rooms are a bit outdated and so is the terrace area.

Location, old world charm, comfortable bed, pools and spa facilities. Varied and really good breakfast

Not much, only thing people allowed to smoke on balcony and smell was getting into the room

Great hotel with spa but rooms need renovation. Also great and hospitable staff, especially liked the restaurant.

    Rooms need renovation.

The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, everyone at reception was particularly helpful. The restaurant serves great food and Davide was especially welcoming. The bar is a great find. Alfonso was very friendly and knowledgeable.

    I’m happy with the property.

    Breakfast, clean.and nice room.

    Price.

Nothing. It was wrongly advertised form the pictures on booking.com and their own website that we didn’t recognise the place upon arrival. We had to cancel prior to even checking in. From the trash outside the entry doors, to the stench upon walking in to reception. I went up to look at the room just to make sure. What a disaster. It smelt so damp and moldy, the room was nothing like any images provided on booking.com. Unfortunately, they cannot see the way they wrongly advertise their property and feel it’s ok to mislead people I would not recommend wasting your money with this property.

Advertised as a wellness place and a clean/nest accomodation but is far from any of that. Terrible

Chianciano, as a city, looked pretty deserted, like a tornado went through. Covid probably affected the tourism in the area. Nobody is investing in jotels too much. However, for Terme, I like that it was clean, the made cleaned up every day, and the breakfast was decent (compared to Alexander Palme which is awful). Parking is available around the hotel and the staff in general was friendly. I did not use the spa, but I heard people having fun in the evening. It has a restaurant, which is convenient since most things are closed in Chianciano.

I stayed in room 606. I could hear the person in the adjacent room snoring. The window blinds closed 95% of the way. The windows (both room and bath) did not close all the way, I could hear people outside. If it rains, it’s a nice touch. I could mot check out until 8:20, which is weird, if you have a plane to catch. I went for sunrise photography, and at 4:20 AM I had to wake up some guy so he could remove a wooden stick from the hotel doors and let me out, which i have never seen anywhere else before. This gave me a sense of unease.

Friendly staff, food was good, the bedroom was very spaceful, and the spa was great; 3 saunas and 2 pools. The massage was awesome. Great value for the price. Plus Tuscany is a piece of heaven.

the spa is truly fantastic. Three different saunas, a round bath, emotional showers and swimming pools with hydromassage. A truly special place to rediscover yourself

    all was good

It was a bad decision; the breakfast was terrible, and the lunch I ordered was terrible. My room had no hot water and no

    9LydiaPosted on: 11-5-2023

Our room was clean and tastefully decorated - it seems to have been modernised recently. The Spa was the main reason we went and it didn't disappoint - we really enjoyed it. There are about 3 different saunas of varying temperatures, an ice cold shower and mist, ice, 2 large hot jaccuzi pools with water massage features and 2 relaxing rooms. We used it twice, once when we got there and once in the morning which was included in our room package. Breakfast was amazing - lots of delicious, fresh pastries and cakes and a selection of savoury foods too. Coffee made to order - perfect!

This is a grand if slightly faded hotel we really enjoyed inspite of dated decor. Friendly and helpful staff and great thermal pool. Enjoyable

    6JosePosted on: 9-20-2023

It was close to Piensa and Molmtepuliciano. The pola were very good. The main pol in floor one needs better ventilation. The smell of chlorine was too strong and bothered our noses. The spa staff was excellent and very friendly.

The room had some mildew on the ceiling and on the curtain in the bedroom. The air conditioning did not work.I believe that the hotels give our the worst rooms to the booking agencies.

    6FrancescaPosted on: 5-14-2023

The thermal spa is small but cozy - fortunately the place was half empty and we could enjoy it for ourselves. Breakfast was tasty and the place is clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful

The hotel is dated, it has old rooms with a green carpet on the wall, a red moquette on the ground and furniture coming straight from the 60es ( a bit Shining’ Overlook hotel feeling). No place to properly hang or dry the bathrobes. Some areas in the SPA (like the shower ) would benefit from some renovation work.I found it quite pricey for the overall service
