Villa Le Calvane

The most beautiful place I have ever visited! We went here for our honeymoon and truly felt like royalty. They took such good care of us from the second we walked in to the moment we got in the taxi to leave. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you are even thinking about booking here, do it!!

Sometimes the staff would be hard to find, but they were super attentive and helpful. So friendly!

Food was mediocre. Breakfast was beyond disappointing. Power was out from 8am -3pm on our only full day at the property. Beds were as hard as a rock. No feather pillows or comforters. Overpriced for the experience and lack of quality - air conditioning doesn’t work, pool is depressing.

They can add coffee and tea making facilities in the suite. The minibar could have been better stacked with some mini bites and nuts.

The hotel is very nice, with friendly people and good service providers; they pay attention to small details, the room is clean and pleasant. A quiet place that provides an atmosphere for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The food is good for breakfast and dinner. We stayed in a room with two bedrooms, where three children slept in one room without any problems, and the second room was for the parents

Villa le calvane is a quiet place where you want to stay longer, cosy evenings with a glass of red wine and with fantastic sun sets. The room was spacious and big. Leo the waiter was very polite and diplomatic, almost like all the stuff at the hotel.

The rooms are big but there is few light, the bathtubs have to be renovated as they are not working properly. Breakfast was okay but not too varied. Overall it was a nice hotel, but overpriced for the facilities it offers.

Food was incredible, both breakfast and dinners! The wine tasting session was great

Gym could be better but I guess it isn't a place to go for hard workouts

The property was beautiful, the staff was tentative especially our sommelier Leo and the front of desk Gemma. Our suite was spacious and a great escape.

Travelling to and from it was expensive.

Villa Le Calvane is an absolute dream! Everything was spectacular. The breakfast was superb! The grounds were tranquil and relaxing. The pool was everything we could have hoped for. And the restaurant food and drinks were delicious! We can’t wait to return.

Nestled in a tranquil, serene setting far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provides the ideal escape for those seeking peace and relaxation. The ambiance is both elegant and cozy, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dinner was a masterpiece, skillfully prepared with the finest ingredients. The absence of city noise added to the charm.

A wonderful villa located on a picturesque Tuscan hill. The on-site restaurant is fantastic, although the breakfasts are just good, not extraordinary. The staff puts their heart into making your stay the best it can be. Special thanks to Paolo!

We were surprised by the additional charges for breakfast dishes. In a 5-star hotel with such high room rates, charging guests extra for items like Eggs Benedict seems at least a strange idea. Although the staff is truly amazing, they cannot adequately service the pool as they are likely overwhelmed with a long list of other duties. A good idea would be to install buttons by the loungers to request service.

Beautiful peaceful villa, rooms and pool settingwith excellent service and gourmet cuisine

We requested that after we checked out at 11am, we could stay at the pool until 1pm, when we would have lunch before departing. We only stay at five star hotels/villas and this is the first that said no. After spending over $3,500 for two nights (2rooms ) I was disappointed and will not return.

Everything was good, from food to room to wine to staff to views. perfect hotel to chill and relax and explore the Chianti region of Tuscany.We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook when wenext have the need to just unwind

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced with the warmth and hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. It was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful and always greeted us with warm smiles. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Lenny, Gemma, Eva, Fabio, and the other wonderful staff members whose names we can't recall. Their hospitality made our stay incredibly special. We genuinely felt at home, and we are deeply grateful for the impeccable service and care provided by everyone at the hotel.

Excellent property with amazing staff, we stayed after we got married in Italy and everyone made it so special for us. Food was also amazing, taster menus in the evening or normal dishes and amazing breakfasts!

Only down side and that’s being really picky is there is no hot tub, but pool and sauna was fantastic!

This place and hotel is a balm for the soul. Absolutely amazing absolutely everything. You will instantly fall in love here. Staff very helpful and professional. The food is heaven in your mouth. Cleanliness at a high level. And the peace, I have nothing to complain about.

This hotel was FANTASTIC! The staff treated our family like we were their own. The scenery is a 10/10 and grounds stunning! I can’t say it enough - this was the most luxurious and friendly European hotel we’ve ever picked. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable and were cleaned/tidied each day at the perfect time. Breakfast was tasty and dinner authentic and delicious. We LOVED having lunch at the pool and highly recommend the sandwiches. Highly recommend the wine tasting and pasta cooking class as well - both take place on site and the hosts were so knowledgeable and fun! We had our 7 and 2 yr old along with us and we utilized the babysitter service which worked perfectly! The woman they contracted with brought fun toys and texted us numerous times during our dinner out to assure us that the children were safe and happy. We will absolutely be back!
