ibis budget Carcassonne La Cité

We didn't stay, one of the rooms where filth with smoke and found an option and still not refunded.

Great location, nice clean and simple rooms.

Thin walls between rooms and hallway.

Nice place to stay when visiting carcassonne, 15 minutes walk from the medieval city. great boulangerie just over the road. Room was comfy.

20mins walks from old town. Cozy place and parking lot available.

No egg & bacon in the morning ?

Very friendly staff and plenty of parking. Breakfast is quite good. The hotel is an 18 min walk from old town and castle . There is a bus service. The hotel rooms are quite small and there are no options for dining close to the hotel. However the hotel is good value for your money.

Good value breakfast and Boniface on reception is a real credit to your hotel. He was very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, staff excellent, good choice of breakfast. More than I expected considering the price.

No complaints

Location, friendliness of the staff, lovely and clean.

Love Ibis hotel's always clean and comfortable. It was very easy to find

Location free parking

Smoking smell in the room even though it is prohibited the room and sheets were smelling on smoke even if we opened the window, the smell was deeply embedded into the room. When we arrived 23:30, there was confusion about the paid room we changed the date thrue booking and they didn't have that written, and the tattoo guy on reception was not speaking English and refused to understand conformation from booking, and we were going on and off for an hour, we were exhausted from the trip and we were not allowed in the room even when we suggested to solve that in the morning with management.Thankfully, after an hour of try to call someone at midnight, someone from stuf confirmed we are ok.and finally, after midnight, we entered the room, but that affected our trip tomorrow because we were exhausted and sleep deprived together with nerves irritated from tatoo gentlemen ( to be polite ) who doesn't speek English but are firmly convinced in his rightness ( even being wrong ) refusing every evidence of wrongness.

Good value for money and only 15 minutes walk to medieval city. Friendly staff. Secure parking and good breakfast

Pleasant

Breakfast as ham cheese and fruit salad was same for 3 days so went hard and chewy nothing was replaced could only have the fresh bread and coffee

Great value. Felt modern, spacious and clean. Easy access, free parking in front of or behind hotel. 15-20 minutes walk from Carcassonne.

No negative points.

Clean rooms, nice bathrooms and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent value for money.Staff were very helpful.

Difficult too access without a car as buses stop running around 7pm but this is a minor issue.

Ibis budget so you know what you are getting. Good price for a basic but decent and clean room. Parking is excellent, plenty of space and secured at night. Staff very helpful. Carcassonne old town is walkable. Breakfast buffet okay.

An excellent continental breakfast with a fresh fruit salad

No lunch or evening meals provided.

You know what level of hotel you're getting, which is perfect for a nights stay

Needs an extra pillow as standard as just one very soft one isn't enough to support side sleeping.

Huge parking, close to bakery

Loud, could hear neighbours very well

Great location

Need two pillows for each person as one very soft pillow each is uncomfortable sleeping on side.

Very clean. Basic room but had everything we required.Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice.Very helpful staff and friendly.Easy walk into town.

Only slight problem was the shower. We are both older guests and needed a non slip mat in the shower tray. Felt very unsafe.
