ibis budget Carcassonne Airport

Clean, cool comfortable room, close to the airport, good security with electronic gate, good breakfast. Good value and someone on the Reception desk all night.

I booked for three people on the booking.com app; 1 adult and two children. The app considers a 17 yr old a child but the hotel considers it an adult. That caused confusion. I booked for three breakfasts on the app but the hotel insisted we had paid for two breakfasts?! Never had this glitchy sort of thing before. The desk staff could have been a bit more friendly and charming but they were young and I guess that will come with experience and time. Overall good.

Good and cheap hostel, but beware that it’s quite far from centre, so you might end up spending a lot of money on transport.

There was nothing to like, it was being renovated and not worth the money and no where to eat breakfast, which I collected on a tray. I should have been told this and I would have booked elsewhere

Dirty and dusty in parts, room clean but the rest was in a mess

OK basic room for an overnight stay before or after a flight. We walked there after a flight. It took us about 15 minutes to get there. On the way there was a Lidl. Opposite that there was a very good bakery with an eat in section where we had breakfast the next morning.

The room was quite small for 2 of us, especially as it was a triple. The sink was in the bedroom, window wouldn’t stay open and the shower was in the bedroom with a glass door. Breakfast had limited choices. Chocolate croissant or white sliced bread but no toaster.

The room wasn't clean, the shower not usable due to the smell of sewage, making the room unpleasant to stay in, left early morning due to this fact...

Dissapointing

When you look outside your window, the roof and parking are full of waste. Breakfast isn’t worth the money. You even don’t receive a plate. The croissants and bread (there is no baguette !) etc are not fresh, no fresh fruit anymore, ,,

The location was ok. Near supermarkets and fast food restaurants. It was good to park for free, good and spacious outdoor parking.

It wasn’t well cleaned. The alleys were very dusty. The room didn’t seem well cleaned, there was dusty and the windows were dirty with spider webs .Rooms were too small and the bathroom, except for the toilet, was open.It wasn’t comfortable.

It was clean and comfortable with pleasant staff. The breakfast was good with lots of variety.

Easy to find really nice staff good value for money you get what you pay for this is a 2 star hotel that must be remembered I was very surprised. they offer breakfast for 8 euros but plenty of nearby restaurants if you prefer the room was clean everything was how it was in the photos lovely view from the 3rd floor got to watch the planes the shower is very good and powerful just bare in mind this is in the bedroom strange but it worked I’d probably come back if we had to visit the area again thanks

The aircon A/C is awful and did not work because the machine needs to be serviced they have not had the filters cleaned for a long time but this is not the hotels staff fault more of a management issue I’ll attach a photo You only get One pillow per person and they can’t offer a extra for some this is okay but as for medical reasons it was uncomfortable

Spacious shower & good hot water. Everything I needed for an overnight stay near the airport.

The guy when we checked in was very kind and helpful, and the location close to the highway.

The gal when we checked out was very cold and didn't care of us. The room is very small and the breakfast basic.

Perfect spot for passing the night. Breakfast is amazing. There are parking spots.

It was just a bit noisy.

Travelling from the ferry in st malo , on way to Spain it was a good place to break the journey I have limited mobility I didn’t mention that when I booked but was given a room on the ground floor with a wet room bathroom a great help

Room ideal for late afternoon flight arrival and car hire, then overnight stay close to the airport, but very quiet, then long drive next day.good breakfast next day to facilitate early departure and secure overnight parking

In the summer there is an open bar/ restaurant close by, but at this time of year it is necessary to drive a short way in towards the town of Carcassonne

Very easy to get to the airport in the morning

Corridors smelled unpleasant, and so did the room. When we arrived, it was not clean, including one of the beds in the room, looked like it had been slept in, as it was dirty, so we had to share one bed.

Too far out of town that no facilities available without having to go in a taxi

It was close to the airport although not close enough to walk. friendly staff.

We arrived at 1 pm following a long drive and had difficulty in finding anywhere to eat. All restaurants closed at 1 pm after lunch apart from McDonalds and KFC. The hotel is in an industrial estate without any facilities for visitors.
