The manager was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and simple. Great view of the street.

The hotel is a basic French hotel. It is convenient to restaurants and other tourist sights and attractions.

There air conditioning in the room did not work nor was there any fan to move air and not have the room be stuffy. I could open the windows but this reduced privacy and added noise.

Overriding factor was location in the Bastide. Free or cheap parking just outside. Few minutes from most restaurents. Good price for the location.

Lumpy pillows & heavy quilt for time of year. Not properly double glazed, so noise not kept out in mornings. No proper shower cabinet & no curtain so impossible to shower properly, & bathing difficult for older people. Stairs had broken spindles in railings, so dangerous for young children.

Nothing this is not hotel it’s a motel

It’s the worst hotel the room smells like gaz I told the front desk they told me if I don’t like it I could leave very rude. Very toxic it’s not safe to stay there I don’t recommend it I call booking didn’t not do nothing about it they took my money and didn’t refund me booking is very weak too

Location, clean, fairly priced and staff were great.

Just fine for what I needed.

The room was comfortable and clean. Cozy and very quiet. Breakfast was good and adequate. We arrived early and the kind staff allowed us an early check in which was very much appreciated. Thanks

There is nothing to dislike

We needed a stopover hotel, and Hotel Central was perfect for our needs. It was close to restaurants and the supermarket.

Can't think of anything, it did everything we needed it to do for our short stay.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The location is very central. Public parking right outside is free on Saturday afternoon and Sundays. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no issues with noise. Overall excellent value and we would stay again!

Fabulous location - easy walk from the station, right on the edge of the old town with easy walk yo the medieval city & castle. Simple clean colourful room in an old building. Small but comfortable size. Comfortable bed. Lovely staff. Would stay here again. Good restaurant right next door.

It’s an old building so pretty noisy - doors being closed, people in the room above walking around, and the toilet being flushed. Street noise was ok though - gets quiet early. Lumpy pillows.

Stayed here with some friends for short break in Carcassonne. We got a triple room for the 3 of us as we just needed somewhere cheap with a great location to sleep and shower and this place was ideal. If you're after somewhere luxurious then I'd look elsewhere but if you just need a clean bed in a central location then you wont be disappointed. Paid far more to stay in far worse and would 100% stay again.

There wasn't any aircon (we knew this prior to booking so it wasn't a problem), was about 25-30C when we stayed and it was just about fine for the 3 of us in a triple room however I'd maybe go somewhere with AC if it was any hotter.

Location was excellent and the staff was friendly. AC kept the room cool during a hot day. Price was low even during the peak of tourist season.

There were holes in the sheets and stains that looked like bedbug droppings. The shower had seen better days and the water gushed out of the enclosure even if the curtains were kept closed, completely soaking the bathroom. The street outside was rather noisy, and the hotel itself seemed quite run down.

The location is excellent, the beds are super comfy and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is in a really cool old building. Nothing fancy but perfectly decent for a short stay. Towels, wifi and shower gel were provided.

Staff friendly and helpful, room spacious and clean. AC effective and very much appreciated, conveniently located. Very nice, family run.

In need of a good decorate. Very tired looking, dreadful colours, no aircon or fan. Shutters wouldn’t stay up to allow any air in.

Room was adequate a bit small, bed was ok, about right for the price

I like the localisation of the Hotel. Also the reception and the welcome was good.

What I found that could been improved is the cleaning of the room on a daily basis while we were in. The romm was not cleaned while we were there
