Conveniently located close to the village center

There is no A/C, it was very hot in the room, but a small fan on the night table made the room much cooler paired with open windows at night, we had no mosquitoes.

This is a well maintained older building. Everything is very clean and comfortable, but somewhat dated - the bath has a early 90s vibe. Bike parking in their garage was convenient snd secure. Good breakfast -bread and croissants were fresh.

Trash trucks around 4am woke us up.

A tired old hotel needs renovating, shower over bath no curtain, about the same price as much better establishments

Food in the restaurant very good in the evening

Breakfast was a limited continental breakfast and poor value.Room, and particularly the bed, was quite small.Floor in our room picked up much dirt on our slippers.Shower only shoulder height and limited hot water.No shower screen so a lot of water to contain.Doors didn't close properly.No refreshment facilities in room.Few complementary cosmetics.Although we stayed during the holiday season, Chatelnaudary largely closes down for up to a week into the new year.Staff were a little rude and thought they new best on how to make English tea. Opening hours for breakfast & car park not made clear.

No Shower curtain, but I don’t think they have them in France?!?

Our second stay here. Hotel is great and handy for town centre. We were walking along the Canal du Midi so very handy for canal with public transport as an option.

Bed was quite comfortable, like the individual historic style.

No kettle, tea/coffee, fridge or water in room. Bathroom was very tired, no shower curtain, mould around tap and broken faucet. Air condition had a noisy drain pump and groaned every few minutes. We had to turn it off and it was 35+ degrees.

The gracious host did her best with my atrocious French (She spoke excellent English). I had a quiet room, a place in the locked garage for my motorcycle and a good meal in the restaurant.

Garage was ok !

Staircase, poor lighting, We asked for a double bed but in fact had two doubles. The whole place needs investment inside and outside, particularly outside.

We had a nice quiet room with two very comfortable double beds. There was plenty of space and the aircon was perfect. Secure bike storage was provided at the rear of the property. The hotel looks a little aged from the outside, b but do not let that detract from choosing this location. Breakfast was good.

The Staff were very helpful and engaging especially with the language barrier. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. But the Staff were the best ?

Simple hotel, good self service breakfast, plenty restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and room was clean.

Very comfy bed and lovely thick towels. The cassoulet for dinner was v enjoyable

The hotel restaurant serves excellent regional cuisine.

I didn't book a four star hotel. I selected something more traditional, authentic and local. The hotel met my expectations and the staff were very friendly. I would have appreciated a stand-up shower, but that didn't happen this time. Not a complaint, but perhaps an unmet preference.

central location. no frills but clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast (€9pp), garage parking (€6pn)

whole hotel, and room, was extremely dated and in need of major refurbishment. No elevator, so suitcases had to be carried up stairs. The hotel typified the whole town which is very run down and depressing.

disappointed

very dated. We arrived within the booked time frame and went to the room which was freezing. The wall heater didn’t work so we had to sort out the air on, we would have thought in view of the time of year the room would have been warm at least when we arrived. The bathroom had a shower fitment which you had to hold to wash, there was no hair dryer.
