Janus Hotel

Very modern and clean with a beach view.

The staff were super friendly and gave me helpful tips , the rooms were clean and nice, and it’s a great spot to explore the upper part of Sardinia. Our view over the sea was super. Would definitely come back!

A few small tips: the terrace could use a quick mop now and then (there were a few stains), the street outside can be a bit busy, and breakfast was always the same ,but good

Amazing location with stellar view of the ocean & beautiful comfortable room. You can walk to the castle in about 10-15 mins or you can walk right across the street to the beach.

The breakfast was not the best. Parking may be tricky. We got lucky but I'm not sure if the actually have any dedicated spots.

We absolutely loved the location, right across from the beach. We had a room with a gorgeous terrace with sea and castle views. The space was quite comfortable and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great location, room large with a large balcony and fantastic view of the beach and sea. All very clean in the accommodation, but also in the communal areas. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend to others.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is at the bottom of the old town, a bit of a climb up to it, but we found some good restaurants within a level walk. There is a small beach just across the road from the hotel. We would certainly recommend the Janus and would be happy to stay there again.

We were fortunate to get a place in the garage because there was little free parking on the street but it is very restricted in size. We had only a medium sized car but it was a bit of a struggle to get in and out. Also, the hotel is beside a busy main road. The traffic didn't keep us awake but the traffic fumes did make use of the nice sea view balcony a little less comfortable.

Road a little noisy but to be fair if you pick a central hotel then you should expect some noise !

The room was a corner sea view suite with amazing views from a generous balcony. We felt part of the daily life at Castelsardo.Wonderfully helpful staff in every way.Large breakfast buffet with lots of choices.Great air con.

Poor selection of breakfast. Inadequate and we wish we did not pay for it. It was a selection of a few cut pre-cut cakes like sand cakes and croissants. Very sugary. Almoat no vegetables, meat or fruits. The juice was very synthetic tasting and tasted of actual soap. The view was good but traffic was very severe right outside the appartment.

The breakfast, the noise and the different lights in the rooms we had to cover with our clothing so we could sleep better. The property owners wouldn’t let us check out after the first night. We explained that it was difficult for me to sleep there and the girl at the reception who could barely speak English, called the managers and they said no. It was not possible to check us out.. She called again and asked again after I explained that we couldn’t sleep there and it was out holiday together. The girl at the reception then said “Ok, they say ok” and continues to check us out and afterwards hands us the bill for the price of the stay IN FULL. It was only lucky that I again asked her what we are getting back and being refunded because she didn’t reply the first time. The second time she said “you pay this” and then pointed at the 406€. The we realized she was checking us out and keeping our money for the full stay.. So of course we said no to that and had to stay. Poor service

The room was perfect. Lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was good. The onsite parking was perfect for a small car at 12 Euro per day. Location was great. Staff were great. The pool and spa were a few doors down in the Riviera Hotel. Pool area was very nice and the Day Spa was lovely. Staff at the spa were great also.

The only thing that would have improved our stay was a kettle or coffee machine in the room.

Good size bedroom and a nice, clean bathroom..Nothing outstanding though, and it felt like the actual hotel didn't reflect the photos on the website

Very good location, with nice view, clean room, nice breakfast (could be enriched a little bit). Wifi was good, reliable. It has a spacious bathroom.

Well located and friendly staff

Very misleadibg advertising, all the facilities are actually in another hotel, that is pool restaurant bar and even spa. I had no information about the spa at the hotel which was the main reason I booked this one. I had an issue with the sink which was blocked upon arrival. It was only fixed the next morning and I didn't get any compensation for the inconvenience. Also the staff kept knocking at my door in the morning to fix, despite me asking for them to come later. I gave in so they fixed the sink but asked for the cleaning to be done after I leave. It was never done. The room was only properly cleaned on my last day. The room had no view at all - a wall, very disappointing.

Nice hotel, awesome view (we got part sea part castle). Just a jump across the street and you are on a beach. And a 10 minute walk into the hill and you are in city centre. The location cannot be better!Rooms are comfy, they also offer parking space.

We had a great comfortable stay at the Janus Hotel. Location was great, our room was very spacious and comfortable and the place was spotless. Breakfast was great as well. Right in front of the beach and lovely view of the sunset from our balcony.

The pool wasn’t actually at the hotel but down the street at a partner hotel. Our room was on the side of the street and we could hear traffic in the morning.

The hotel is run so well. The rooms are clean, up-to-date, and comfortable. The hotel concierge was very helpful and staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and the hotel has a beautiful view.

The pool is located at a sister hotel. However it is not far to walk to and is easy to access.

Excellent location by a lovely sandy beach. View from the room across the beach was beautiful and the room was lovely.

The room was good but only because i upgraded, the breakfast was terrible nothing warm was provided and it was very basic standard, the same as every day no variety or many options.
