- Lovely views, not a short walk to the main town, lovely receptionist.
- Castelsardo is a beautiful little town, and the view and proximity to it was fantastic from the hotel.
Cons -
- Not so clean at the Bar. The bartender were smoking while making drinks.
- Lifts don’t go to third floor with last two flights of stairs being a pain with luggage and dark corridors. Was late in season but pool was dirty (green, possibly algae forming around edges). Room balcony/patio badly in need of some tlc - table dirty, flaking paint, weeds between tiles. Room clean but badly indeed of some maintenance and updating.Worst of all though was lack of soundproofing - don’t sleep great as could hear the snoring from the next room and could hear noise fromCorridor below from early morning.
- Very old beds, furniture and bedding.Fridge was warm.Pillows were very uncomfortable. No beach at all.Pool was run down and not heated.Breakfast was always the same and not great, canned fruit and hotdogs should not be on menu.Staff didn't seem to care much about anything. No kettle or coffee maker in the room.Could hear neighbors snoring in their rooms.Constant smoking all balconies. Leaky water in bathroom. Old toiletries left in our bathroom.

We had room for three, very spacious. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices. Beautiful bougainvillea :)
Would be nice to have a proper bed for third person. Very thin walls. Swimming pool closes at 18.30, should be open longer when the weather is still nice. Free parking spaces available but very uneven surface.
Amazing view over location, breakfast was great, no onsite parking but plenty of free parking on street. Room was large, clean and comfortable, large beautiful pool
The top floor sea view bedroom was lovely and very well maintained, spotlessly clean inside. Breakfast was good - lots of variety of hot, cold and cakes. The area surrounding the pool with sun loungers was well maintained and very peaceful (at the end of September). My room was amazingly good value for money. Location and views are amazing and it’s an easy 10 minute walk into town with all its shops and restaurants and beach (although probably best to drive to beach as it’s at the end of town).
The public areas feel a bit tired and out-dated, but they’re kept very clean! It was great value for money, so something had to give! I would definitely stay again.
Great views (we had a 3rd floor sea view room), perfect location (short 10 min walk to the city centre), decent breakfast with good coffe - would stay here again any time
Amazing view, great terrace. Staff was very nice. A bit tight on the parking availability, but not a very big issue. Decent breakfast.
Hotel is a bit tired.
Beautiful location overlooking the sea. We paid for a sea view room with a large balcony overlooking the pool and the sea - 100% worth it as other reviews suggest! Pool is fabulous - up to 3m deep! Always plenty of sun loungers and never felt crowded. Lifeguard on duty. Our favourite breakfast during our trip to Sardinia with mixture of hot foods, cold foods and loads of pastries/cakes. Make sure to do some snorkelling at nearby Cala scoglio - amazing fish and beautiful water for swimming.
Not an issue for us but there are plenty stairs so more so a warning for people with mobility issues - if that’s something you want to avoid this place may not be for you. Lifts throughout but stairs unavoidable The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together which meant the beds split apart in the middle of the night - a double would be preferable for comfort
the view of the city was beautiful.
very old and outdated.. bed is not a queen bed but two twin beds put together .. if you are a couple be prepared to sleep apart otherwise you’ll have a back ache if you’re trying to sleep in the middle.
Almost passable
Smell of the chlorine everywhere, hotel is a bit worn out, horrible breakfast (coffee especially for Italy).
We got a last minute deal with a free upgrade to a superior room. The room was clean, spacious and had a big roof top terrace with sea view. It was equipped with an (empty) fridge and we could even rent an electric kettle for our stay against a 20€ deposit. The provided toiletries were good. The breakfast was good. There is no restaurant for dinner in the hotel, but there are restaurants 15 minutes by foot from the hotel and the hotel also seems to allow deliveries. The staff was always friendly!
The parking situation is sometimes bad. If you return late from an excursion, you can barely find a parking spot on the street close to the hotel. At least, parking is free on the street, there is no paid parking. It might help to add some lines to encourage people to park properly and optimize the parking situation a little bit. The rooms are not really sound-proof and I guess there is not much the hotel can change about that. As soon as the neighbors are awake, you are awake. I don't know whether carpets on the wall or other means of accustic isolation may help.It would be perfect to have beds on the balcony for stargazing if the lighting in the inner yard would be dimmed/directed a bit.Unfortunately, the private hotel beach is currently not accessible and the closeby Cala Scoglio is not really great for swimming.
Beautiful views Nice comfy rooms. Nice pool area. Close to town great breakfast Close to town and restaurants and beaches for swimming close by
All good
Fantastic view of the sea and Castelsardo. If you’re planning to stay in the area I recommend it. It’s quick to walk to the historic city of Castelsardo. In the morning we could see the sunrise from our room. Very good breakfast with plenty of options, especially nice sweet pastries and deserts, tarts and cremes absolutely delicious. The room was clean, nice linens. Nice bathroom cosmetics- I personally love Prija cosmetics scent and was happy to see it in the hotel. Friendly employees, from reception and restaurant staff to cleaning team. Good size of the pool and the poolside area has sea view. Parking just in front.
I liked pretty much everything about the hotel , just I wish the pool area wasn’t allowed to smoke at. Perhaps smokers could go to smoke somewhere in the designated area rather than affecting people laying on sunbeds next to them. The hotel itself was very nice, so this information is just for possible improvements.
Personal very friendly, very clean Amazing upgrade to a very large Balcony Nice pool areaShort walk to the center
Very poor sound isolation - we were woken up by the neighbor’s snoring! We had a very large balcony - sun beds would have been amazing. Access to sea not possible
everything was ok, reach breakfasts with cakes, fresh fruits, vegetables, also warm dishes. Nice see view, and view to the castlehill.
it wasn´t possible to shadow the sunshine from the window in the morning, so we woke up earlier...
Ideally located to town centre ( 5 min walk) .. stunning views . Bedrooms are spacious and the large balcony with sea views is worth the extra money if you can . Reception staff very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend the places as a great base to explore the Northern part of Sardinia.
More sun loungers by pool .
Our room had a fabulous sea view & of the Castel and only a 10minute walk into the centre. Bright fresh rooms.
The pool area did not have sufficient loungers for the guests who wanted to use them. The lift was broken which as it is all built on a hillside was unfortunate. Breakfast was pretty average.
We had a nice room and a balcony with a clear view to the pretty town of Castelsardo and across the ocean. Breakfast was included and there was lots to choose from, all very fresh.
The bathroom sink was very slow to drain.
Fantastic views from room and pool
Sound carried easily though walls
