IHR Hotel San Paolo

The location was good if you want to be in that area. You can rent a kayak from the hotel for 15 euro an hour. Good location to access some other beaches by car.

Parking was not free while room was already over priced. The main building was pretty run down & in need of renovations as we're the rooms, although the rooms were clean. The hotel beach is not the best.

Dinners are quite delicious.Very kind and helpful staff.Very nice beach.

Morning coffee is terrible.Breakfast could be better.

Location superb, with direct access onto the beach and marina as well as private garden area with sun loungers, chairs and parasols.Easy walk into resort with shops, bars, restaurants, bank and pharmacy.Easy to walk to a number of other beaches.Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent buffets for breakfast and dinner, and they paid special attention to dietary requirements.Property is charming and public areas well fitted and pleasant.

Our bedroom would have benefited from a refurbishment especially in the bathroom area. However the staff responded quickly when we asked for attention to the shower and a replacement hairdryer. Could do with more power points to charge devices. Wi-Fi limited to ground floor indoors.

One of the best location in the North of Sardinia, right on the beach with a fantastic sea view on Tavolara and Molara islands. Any other hotel in a similar location would cost you at least twice as much in that region. Staff are extremely friendly and always smiling. Food is great for a three stars hotel standards. Suggest to travel there by your own car (via ferry) or to rent one in Sardinia as to explore the wonderful nearby locations and beaches.

The data mobile network is really weak in that area and the hotel is providing for WiFi only in the lobby area. Additionally the lobby WiFi speed is not great. So if you have some work to do, some business calls, this might be disappointing

The comfort. The hotel was located right in front of a beach and a nice town square.

Everything was fine, the older facility was outweighed by all the advantages.

Ac no was working good,the room was uncomfortable for sleep, they can't fixed, very hot ,we request a fan for help to help us

Staff really friendly and sweet

So many elderly people it almost feel like an retirement place. the food are really underwhelming, one evening we didn’t even have one meat dish. Really unacceptable. No internet in room. Parking not free. Beach full of kids.

We stayed 6 days there with my family (with a 7yo son), and we really enjoyed during our stay. Hotel location, facility, beach and staff are really great, especially special thanks to Antonio, Andrea and Luana for their spotless services and smiley faces all time.

Room quality might upgrade a little bit, but again it's all fine.

The staff was nice and the breakfast even though it had few options was generally good.

The rooms need to be refurbished, specifically the bathrooms - our shower door was broken. The refrigerator did not work properly. The hotel in general needs an uplift for the price it is requesting.

We really enjoyed our holiday at hotel IHR San Paolo. Delicious food, kind stuff, nice place quite to beach. Perfect place for family with children. Hope we will come back next year :)

The staff was extremely nice, and helpful. Everyone spoke english, so there was no problem with that. The food was very good. They have a very cute backyard, where you have private beach with the view of Tavolara. We also loved that umbrellas and deckchair were free of charge. The room was clean, but the equipment is a bit old-though we werent really bothered by that. The price was great. Overall it was a very nice experience, we felt very comfortable there. Big compliments to the staff?

The coffee that is included at breakfast from the machine was really bad? But we solved that problem with going to the hotel bar and bought it there

Breakfast was ok, but the friendly, efficient staff was outstanding; and the location was Spectacular: Peaceful and beautiful looking out at Isola Tavolara!

It was all good. 100% recommendable for anyone who wants a friendly, casual, comfortable - but not “hyper-luxury” vacation.

The machine coffee could have been better, being in Italy.

The food was FANTASTIC especially the pasta. There was no repitition over a 4 night stay and two choices of pasta per day.The staff were super friendly especially the two ladies on reception.Loved that the the beach sunbeds were included for the stay and how close to the beach the hotel is.

The juice at breakfast was a bit watery!

Second time stayed at hotel, very relaxing place to stay has its own private beach and water crystal clear. Staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing holiday, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.

The only thing I can think of is they could install some insect killers in the dinning and public areas as you get mosquitoes that can give you a nasty bite, they didn't bite me but my partner got bitten a few times.

No outdoor shower facilities and no outdoor towel (should not be chargeable). Wi-Fi not so great. Some equipment such as fridge and air conditioning system are very old and noisy.

We had a great room with a balcony. The view was spectacular of Tavolara, great location.

The state of the shower (the plastic doors didn’t hang properly and the finish was crumbling, the shower was old. It all needs replacing.

Everything we needed was there. We had an awesome view from the very comfortable and clean room.

we had our flights cancelled and we booked this hotel as had passed it earlier in the stay, the staff where beyond helpful our room incredible and the views wonderful

San Paolo Hotel was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Cleaners, waiters and receptionists were so friendly and made you feel very welcome. The rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners did such an amazing job. The waiters were very attentive and the receptionists were always helpful. We had full board and it was heaven to have three buffets a day with such a huge variety of truly delicious food. Water was free of charge. Table tennis was free of charge as well. Bikes and kayaks could be rented from the hotel. In addition to these activities we went on a snorkeling trip to the island of Tavolara offered by the nearby dive centre. After dinner we had a drink from the bar sitting in the outdoor area and we enjoyed the balmy evenings. We had the best holiday ever! Grazie mille to all the wonderful staff at San Paolo Hotel who made that dream of a holiday possible!
