    Pros +

    • Everything is amazing in this hotel , the staff, the rooms , the beach , the food ....
    • The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety (although the eggs were not very good); I was surprised by how spacious my bedroom was, including a walk in closet. I also thought the beach area was pleasant and well situated.
    • private beach huge pluswalking distance to baja but far from porto cervo

    Cons -

    • The hotel was very crowded, particularly in the dining room where it felt like everyone was on top of each other. I only had dinner there once and the food was not very good. Far better options for dining just a few minutes away in the town area. The bed was very uncomfortable - the mattress was stiff and the blankets were basically sheets.
    • no beach bedsno outdoor dining for breakfast or dinnerlunch served only until 2pmbreakfast 200 people or more inside a dated closed restaurantdated rooms and bathrooms with mildew smell
    • Most uncomfortable bed I ever slept on.Food was subpar. Do not eat breakfast here.I think it might be haunted. There were ants in our room.Beaches were nice but you do get tired of it quick if you don’t have a car.Facility is also outdated.

An amazing location next to the sea and the scenery was stunning. Close to the small town of Baja with lovely restaurants.

The breakfast was ok, but very busy when it opens at 07.30 and the layout where the food and drink was got very congested.

Lovely place with amazing swimming pools and private beach. The restaurant was good too. The room was big and comfortable

It might need some refresh as it’s getting old

Location was great, really good breakfast,Lovely little private beach.

Pool a bit to cold to enjoy a swim No coffee making facilities in room

The hotel is situated on the point with a private beach and beautiful views. The property has multiple pools (not heated so a little chilly for our late September stay) with separate seating areas which makes it feel smaller than it is. The restaurant and cleaning staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The views are spectacular and you can walk to the nearby town in 5 minutes (although it is quite a hill) the hotel has nice patio areas, the beach and patio bar have great views. Several great hikes from the property but also within a hours drive you can really explore many beautiful beaches (you definitely want a car in this region!)

Generally it is a bit dated and old fashioned, both the rooms and the common areas. We had half board and I would say the food quality is not 4 stars. It was generally decent, breakfast is the same everyday but has a reasonable variety, the pasta courses were the highlight, the meat courses generally were nothing special. The cocktails and wine were reasonably priced but the cocktails were also not the best. Stick to wine and beer! The beach is quite grainy sand, the local beach next door is gorgeous with fine sand.

Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Beach was beautiful. Water was warm and clear.

It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful

The bed and pillows were so hard. We did ask for softer pillows and they bought them to us straight away but still to hard.

The hotel is directly at the beach, has many swimming pools. The breakfast was delicious, very well served with many options. Also the staff was great. We had a great time there.

The only problem that the hotel should take care as soon as possible is the "beach chair reservation". Although this practice is not allowed (according to the regulation written and accessible via QR code on the rooms), many guests (specially from Germany) insist on doing this. This practice leads to discomfort and discussions between guests, but the hotel just do not interfere. A simple way to solve it would be to make people aware of it directly on the check in, just like the "new towels rule"(that costs an extra), etc. We saw guest reserving the chairs by putting towels on them really early in the morning and just not showing up the whole day! It means that this guest prevented other guest from using the chairs for the whole day.

Great location and private beach was a plus

Food in hotel restaurant wasn't the best

Beautiful location, views amazing from our sea view room. The room was spotless clean & breakfast plentiful loads of choice .

The sun bed situation was not good ,always plenty of spare deck chairs on the private beach if you wanted to sit upright all day not great for people like us (bad back).the sun beds which were available had gone most days by 8.30 with towels on them being reserved.I think it’s rare for a hotel of this standard not to have a kettle and tea and coffee in the room which we would have liked.

Excellent location, very helpful friendly staff. Our second time staying and if anything better than the first visit. Check in easy, room very much to our personal liking. The small pools ideal to cool off in. Well done to all members of the hotel staff.

The gym needs attention. The personal fitness aspect is very important to a section of guests. Two of the three thread mills out of order. It has the feeling of a part of the hotel that is not important, Wrong ! This needs a small investment and a revamp. Also , have a look at the breakfast experience, could a new layout help with the flow of guests?

    9AlmaPosted on: 7-19-2024

the location is perfect and the fact that they have their own private beach is a big bonus ! free chairs and umbrellas on the beach and by the pool. Also , all the common spaces of the hotel , like bar, reception , lounge - they are big and nice and welcoming .

the rooms are a little dated ( especially the bathroom / shower ) , but spotless clean , so in the end it doesn't matter. Also , our room was ''side sea view '' which meant it was looking over the rooftop of the restaurant . we wanted to upgrade, but is was fully booked, so no change was possible even for extra cost .

Super quaint hotel amongst beautiful gardens with direct access to the beach. Lovely staff and very enjoyable stay with family.

People could leave towels on pool and beach chairs all day and never use them. There was no limit or removal of towels and personal items by the staff. There were many times when everyone swimming and using the pools didn’t have chairs. Very annoying at peak summer times.

very good intern. breakfast. The beach was clean, nice and with enough beds and umbrellas.

    9ChristinePosted on: 7-12-2024

Good location, staff were excellent, the pool areas were good.

I think the rooms were somewhat tired, and could do with refurbishment. Also could have had more plug points. That is the only reason I gave a score of 9.

    8JanePosted on: 7-10-2024

Quaint and authentic. Very clean. Stunning views

Rooms a bit dated. No tea making facilities in room.
