Pros +
- The location was amazing. The view over Le Lavandou from the balcony of our room was spectacular. If you look at the map, the hotel is across the street from the waterfront, but you don't even notice the street! We enjoyed it all times of the day. The hotel is within walking distance (1/4-1/3 mile) to two beaches, the main town one and our favorite at St. Clair, which was accessed by a concrete and stone path (not for the timid) or stairs and roads. Breakfast and parking was added for a modest price and both were worth it. The staff were fantastic, helpful, and incredibly polite. The room was snug but comfortable with a rain shower.
- Friendly and helpful owner/staff. Nice room all very clean . Great balcony and view
- Exceptionally clean room with super gracious hosts. Breakfast was fantastic. Good bath facilities. Ample parking.
Cons -
- Really not complaints, but potential guests should be aware that the elevator reaches floors 0 (reception), 1 and 2 but not 3 so if you are on the 3rd floor (the BEST views) you will need to carry luggage up a winding staircase from the 2nd floor. Reception is also not staffed between 1 and 3 in the afternoon (a lot of businesses also close for those hours) or after about 7:30 or 8:00 pm until the next morning.
- No complaints at all. Liked everything.
- Nothing! Great place!

Wonderfully comfortable and well sited at the marina. The owner is very attentive and loves his job!
Nothing! Great place!
The view of the port.
Arrival email ignored and no one answered the phone number that was mentioned on the door. Room was very small. Broken tiles in the shower. No bathroom door. Broken balcony chair. Toilet seat was stained. Very noisy air conditioning but noisy outside so can’t sleep with window open. The breakfast was too expensive. The fresh orange juice had gone bad. No eggs.Second day we had a cheaper and just as good breakfast at the port.
Excellent location and rooms fabulous. Staff friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return.

Well located, lovely views, friendly staff, comfortable room, stylish design, good breakfast, quiet, sparkling clean. What more could you want!
room very clean, spacious and bright with large terrace with wonderful view overlooking the port. Breakfast was simple but good. A typical continental breakfast. The hotel owners were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful.
no complaints.
Denis & Vanessa gave us such a warm welcome. They are such a wonderful couple and so helpful. The location is amazing and close to all amenities and especially the beaches. V. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed and amazing views.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean rooms. Very handy parking available. All amenities we needed were there.
Slightly outdated rooms which could do with a bit of modernising.
Very nice people. Great breakfast. Clean, good size room. Comfortable.
Location was excellent, within Le Lavendou town and within walking distance of Saint Clair beach. The hotel was at the end of the beach front strip, away from the noise and bustle of bars and restaurants. We were on the first floor but still had views of the marina. The balcony was also very big with comfortable chairs.
Excellent location within easy walking distance on town. Modern, comfortable and well appointed.
very nice and friendly. the service was outstanding. also the location is great, close to the water and bars.
This is a nice small hotel located directly opposite the port/harbour of Le Lavandou with a light modern feel. The hotel was under recently changed management and the new owner was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. My basic standard room was very adequate in size and facilities for my 5 day winter stay to cap off a 6 week trip to the South of France to escape the silly energy prices in the UK for a while. Why give money to energy companies when you can use that money towards an extended stay in the pleasant winter climate of the South of France. Even the standard rooms have a side balcony, albeit with a limited sideways view of the sea, but this was perfectly OK for a February visit. Indeed there was access to a large sea facing communal terrace with furniture to sit and relax and take in the marvellous view. A view I have been indulging since 1969. The location at the Eastern end of the Harbour Front was perfectly fine for a short stroll to the bars restaurants and shops in the very heart of original Le Lavandou. I would highly recommend it if you have a chance to go in the winter.
This is an exceptional hotel. From the moment we found we were delayed in arriving and the patron stayed to welcome us to our room to the warm welcome we got every day when we met anyone, such a wonderful team who make you feel so welcome. The room is exactly like the photos. Roomy and comfortable with an inexpensive mini bar, TV you can access your Netflix account and an amazing balcony to enjoy the views. Breakfast was fantastic value for money, great choice and so well presented. The parking facilities were great and had a barrier so your space is retained when you go out for the day. It is located close to the harbour with bars and restaurants and a few mins walk from the main centre shops and beach as well as the stop for the little train to explore the area. I cannot recommend this highly enough, Lavandou is a beautiful place to visit, we have been going for over 20 years and this is the perfect place to stay to enjoy all it has to offer.
There is nothing I didn’t like, can’t wait to go back again!
