    • Even despite the minor language barrier we managed everything :DThe air conditioning is functional, you just need to close the terrace door carefully. The room is nice, stylish, the bathroom is spacious and well equipped, there was an iron and ironing board in the closet. The breakfast was sufficient, thank you and we recommend it.Street parking was possible right next to the hotel.
    • Good location just one block from the beach though we could see the sea- comfortable and spacious room with access to the balcony which was nice
    • Right on the seafront, but we didn’t really have a sea view

    Cons -

    • all ok
    • The accommodation is away from the restaurant and right next to a busy school, the morning of leaving was a nightmare. The town was flooded so difficult to get to, not their fault of course.
    • There is no privacy in the room. The bathroom door is a clear sliding door and you can see everything. This gave us no privacy to shower nor to use the restroom. Which made it very hard to get ready and such.On top of that, you need the keys to get in and out of the building. So if you are traveling with a group and someone needs to leave they need to leave with the key and whomever stays behind in the room must wait for someone to return to let them out. For single or couples this can work out fine but for a group of 3 or more this makes it very complicated. Also, to clarify the hotel DOES NOT HAVE PARKING INCLUDED. Before booking the hotel under amenities and such it said free parking. When a hotel says they have free parking it usually means they have parking available at their location. Not in this case. When we asked the concierge about it parking she said there was no parking inside the people because it’s for the residents. Which is understandable and she told us we can park behind the building (not designated hotel parking) for free. So we parked behind the hotel. The next morning we were given a parking ticket for $80. We confronted the concierge and they said that they meant that there is a lot with free parking not the street behind the building. This was disappointing to hear since they told us we could park there the day before and there was nothing they could do for us. PLEASE clarify in your amenities that there is no free parking because that is very misleading.Last but not least when we checked in, the concierge gave us a key for the building and a key for the room. What we did not know was that we needed a hotel key card for the power. After trying to find parking, unloading our luggage, and checking in we were hoping to go to a room to turn on the AC and power but nothing turned on. We say that by the door you needed to put a hotel key card to for the power.

The hotel is literally next to the beach within easy walking distance. Next to several restaurants and shops. The breakfast is included, there’s free wifi, and AC.

Excellent location near the beach. There is free parking right near the hotel (could be occupied). The room was clean and nicely furnished. All appliances worked perfectly. Eye catching paintings inside the hall. Summarizing, for me it was excellent value for money.

The electric panel inside the room made a clicking noise.

    Staff, location, and meal.

Bad smell of drains from shower percolating into bedroom.

    8StevePosted on: 5-19-2024

Location right on the seafront, comfortable and clean room.

No tea/coffee making facilities in room.

The Staff - all one of her was very friendly

The hotel is shown as Frontline with a restaurant " El Manico" but we couldn't find the restaurant - it had been DEMOLISHED !The check in was in the restaurant so that made life difficult for us........with the help of a local shopkeeper we met the receptiolist in the street and then found that Frontline included 2nd line! The website needs to be update to reflect the rather dramatic changes

    3IanPosted on: 2-17-2024

    room was clean

no reception, no choice of breakfast, passport details photographed on a personal phone. Only one towel in room for 2 people. Furnishings in room were shabby.

    2DonaldPosted on: 1-28-2024

    By the sea front

The staff was unfriendly. The place is not a hotel but 2 apartments converted into rooms above a restaurant. Very bad noise insulation, not a place to recommend

    pressure of shower was good

when arrived, they gave us basic room, even we paid for larger room. change next day, when messaged then, and when trying to work, internet wasn`t workin.. In the long run, reception need to know what You been booked and paid for. Location was good. Their restaurant was closed during the stay, so "breakfast" was like poorest in whole trip. Only toast, cafe , joghurt, sumo. nothing to put on the top of bread etc, Even IBIS etc hotels are MUCH MUCH better breakfast. Room that gave us after complan, was broken toilet sink ( water leaks ) and furnitures looks like collect from bin, missing handbars etc.... never again, sorry. Somebody need to stay sometimes in those rooms to see whats is broken etc.

Good room, nice bathroom and a simple but good breakfast.

A very thin sheet on the bed.In winter maybe add a thicker, warm blanket!

    7YassinePosted on: 9-26-2023

The location is good near the beach. The room was good enough. Ac working. Breakfast was reasonable. Check-in easy

No sea view as described at the time of booking. No free parking we had to park in the paid parking street (near the location though).

The hotel is in a good location. It is made up of several rooms on one floor of an old apartment building behind the restaurant/reception building that faces the beach. The Peñiscola castle is just a 20 minute walk. The AC and TV worked fine. The breakfast was very good with fresh juice, coffee, yogurt, sweat bread, toasted bread, and a plate of jamon and queso. The staff was friendly.

The room was "tired." The vinyl upholstered headboard was pealing, the sliding glass door into the bathroom was stuck open, the towels were a bit worn, there were no glasses or cups in the bathroom and the shower dispenser was out of shampoo and body gel. We asked for cups the first morning but never received them. The shower gel was refilled on our request. The single wide pillow on the double bed was uncomfortable for two people. There were no extra pillows. I slept on the single bed in the room to have my own pillow. The Wi-Fi was non-existent.We were on a 5 day driving trip and this hotel was more expensive than those in other towns away from the Mediterranean Sea and it was also the only hotel we booked on this trip that we found disappointing.

    8DawnPosted on: 8-26-2023

    Its close to the beach

You check in at the restaurant which is all very strange. Staff are busy in restaurant so no information was given to us about breakfast, wifi etc. Had to go back later & ask.

Location was the main positive factor. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.Their breakfast was fairly basic, but the coffee was excellent, and the staff serving was very friendly and helpful.

We had zero communication from the hotel prior to arriving. We weren't given any guidance in relation to accessing the keys, etc. We turned up at the address and didn't realise that their reception is located in their restaurant at the sea front road. The air conditioning in one of the rooms wasn't working properly and it required some problem solving and time to get it to work. All doors had to be closed, and any time that we needed to check on the children, the air con stopped working (weird setting). We did not have such an issue with the air con in our bedroom. However, the bathroom door in our bathroom kept sliding open, which did not give any privacy. The bathroom window in the girls' bedroom was broken and stayed open all the time. The parking in their building is charged separately, but there was a free parking nearby which was convenient for us. It would have been helpful if they had a fridge. Some little issues that didn't interfere much with our stay. Overall a good 2 star place. They could easily upgrade to 3 stars.

Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Shops and beach close. Walk to the beachfront for a great view of the castle.

Shower drain was blocked with hair and water spilled onto bathroom floor. Staff were quick to respond though.

Great location right on the beach... Breakfast was good, staff friendly.

    1) I filtered the initial search to only show hotels with parking, when we got there this didn't have a any guest parking whatsoever, hmmnnn....so I had to drive around the back streets a couple of laps behind the seafront on arrival, found a space in a free carpark a few minutes walk away. 2) The pics shown are obviously old, our room was in a block around the corner, it looked a bit tired and worse for wear compared to the images on the site.. ... uncomfortable bed ... but a lovely sea view.

The room, the price, the dirt.

A lovely spotless clean cool place to stay. Small family run business, very good location to beach and bars. Good breckfast. Friendly staff

Possible better outdoor seating and a small fridge.
