Everything inside. Looked like a war zone outside, but work has to be done sometime

Location, dog friendly, great value and lovely breakfast!
Some building work to the exterior, but no noise in the evening
Hotel is simple, but clean and comfortable. The location is great, the first line to the sea. Walking distance to the castle and city center (20-30 minutes)
In February the restaurant is working only for breakfast time. After 11:00 and till 16:00 you can only have a drink. And there is no cattle in the room to drink a tea after 16:00. In these area everything is closed, you have to go to the city center to have a lunch or dinner.
Not very clean and stank of smoke.
Room wasn’t very clean. Smelt of smoke. Balcony door left open with metal shutters down. Bed was very uncomfortable. One bolster pillow on a double bed which poked out of the end of the case and was filthy. No lighting in corridors. Staff pleasant enough but dressed in a tracksuit.
We had a comfortable room. The parking had easy access and private. The staff were very helpful, thank you.
The hotel is in a great location with a nice view of the old town. The staff is friendly and everything is clean. We had breakfast and it was good.
The bed had only one long big pillow and it's a bit strange to share it with a partner. Also the duvet was a bit old but it was clean.
The service from the staf was great. My husband was sick en I good take the breakfast to the room. It is a pitty that they do not speek Englisch.
We good not communicate well because they do not speak Englisch.
Close to the beach
Wrong roomNo towel for showerNo shampooNo parking
Parking ample and free, location very good on the promenade and within walking distance of the town centre. Breakfast sufficient
Bar closed at 4pm so couldnt enjoy the location as much.Room sufficient, no frills
The room was cleaned properly every day. Service in the cafeteria was good.
Thin walls and some noise from neighbours
Very good location. Rooms a little tired but value for money bearing in mind sea front location. Parking a bonus.
Great 2 star hotel on the sea front.Staff are very helpful.Bedrooms are comfortable and very clean. The plus point for me was I could bring my dog and they had on site parking
Hotel was dog friendly, and had secure parking for 10€ per night. Room had outside balcony.
Nothing really that bothered us.
It was within reasonable walking distance to the town
The front of the hotel was being rebuilt - the terrace that we had hoped to be able to sit on and have coffee was not available due to the works.
The staff were polite and the room was pretty good and comfortable.
The hotel was under renovations which was not indicated at the time of booking. The buffet breakfast was very inadequate. Bad coffee, terrible juices and a very basic selection of food. The hotel is situated in an area of Peñiscola that is closed in the winter.Personally, I believe it wasn't worth the money.
Good location, clean room and dog friendly.
Car parking extra 10euro.Restaurant wasn't open, we could have been informed during booking online. Not really value for money even though it is a frontline hotel.
The location and bathroom were clean and very nice
I found bugs in my bed
