    Pros +

    • Hotel clean and well organized. ADult chill out and pool much cleaner than main pool.
    • The room was spacious and clean
    • The location was fine. Crazy that you had to pay for indoor children’s pool. No food jn the bar, nowhere to properly relax

    Cons -

    • Warm breakfast foods were not warm on the first 2 days. On the second day, after waiting for the cook to fry eggs, they were warm, but all food in chafers was not warm. In general, not a very good buffet breakfast (compared to the last many hotels I have stayed out) due to lack of variety in fruit and food.
    • 1. For a hotel claiming to be a 4 stars: there was no kettle or coffee machine in the room. 2. To go to indoor pool they charge 22 euro per hour! If you have a kid that slot is limited between only certain hours.3. Staff barely spoke any english and in most cases was unfriendly.4. I would say this hotel could be a 3 star but not 4

    Good location and facilities.

Coffee from the machines was not great. Our two double beds together was two big and overpowered the room.

Facilities are normal and not special for a 4 stars hotelToo much money for a normal hotel

No shampoo / conditioner/ gel body in roomInternet was weak

Staff was very nice. Cade was good, breakfast was great. Beautiful property. Massages in spa were wonderful.

In block 4 we could hear all the banging around from the kitchen and dining room until nearly midnight.

    7GrahamPosted on: 3-26-2024

The room was spacious with 2 double beds pushed together. The bathroom was also spacious and clean.

We arrived at about 8.30om, tired, hungry and wanting to get to our room asap. It took 30 minutes to check in. The receptionist answered four phone calls so we had to wait. Only once we had checked in and paid 15 euros to park in their underground car park could we actually park the car, take our cases and go up to our room. This meant we didn't get to the dining room until about 9.15pm and alot of the buffet dishes had been finished and not replenished as dinner finished at 10pm. We had a very mediocre meal. Breakfast was the same, a lot of the hot dishes had been finished and not replenished. Staff not very friendly. Our bedroom was very warm. Despite opening the window and turning off the fan it was still very warm in the night. The hotel looks lovely on the outside and it's very big but the check-in and meals were very disappointing. There was also some form of entertainment going on. The music was so loud it was almost deafening. Thankfully we didn't hear the music in our bedroom.

Traveled with family on our holiday on our way to Barcelona. Accommodation was good and close to all the sites and attractions that Peniscola has to offer. Highly recommed.

It’s good price and good location . Bed was big and confortable

No any decorations in the room

    7BastiaanPosted on: 10-8-2023

We had a very nice room on the 7th floor, overlooking the bay and the old castle. Room was spacious and comfortable.

For a 4-star rated hotel the halfboard (dinner and breakfast) was not okay. Very limited selection of cheap choices. Dinner and breakfast were rated 2 stars and we definitely had better at 2 star places.

Service at reception I was arriving late NS u was so very stressed but the male team member who checked me in certainly stayed calm and this helped me, showed me the parking and took me to my floor - great service delivery nd going the extra mile to ease my travel frustration

The room was clean and very spacious

Proximity to the old town and castle

    1. The room we got was smoky. At first we were refused to change the room, the cleaner came and filled the whole room with air freshener. In this fog of air freshener, it became completely impossible to breathe. On the second attempt, we still changed the room.2. The bed was damp. Especially the pillows. I have never slept on such a damp bed. The rooms are very poorly ventilated. There is no ventilation in the bathroom. Because of what the walls and floor after taking a shower become wet and there is a risk of slipping.3. We booked a room for three, but there were only two towels. Rug and hand towel. Which is absolutely not enough for a family of three.4. The plumbing is outdated. The water in the sink didn't drain. The silver plating on the shower handle was so chipped that it scratched my hands.5. There is no place in the room for drying swimwear after the pool or the sea, and there is no drying rack for clothes either.6.

    7BenjaminPosted on: 7-22-2023

Location and service was great. Everything you need is close. Parking was easy. Staff is friendly and helpful especially the bartender in the 5th floor adult only pool.

Room was a little bland. No artwork or coziness. Maybe it's not a custom in Europe. Bed was hard not very comfortable. However everything was functional.

    8SaraPosted on: 6-20-2023

The food was really goodThe room was big and very comfortable but quite basic in terms of amenitiesThe simming pool very comfortableThe night show basic but super funThe atmosphere is greatThe location was good, very close to the small beach and only a little walk to the big one and the castle

There was no space in the bathroom where to leave your toiletries to do your hair, make-up, etc...

    8LauraPosted on: 6-11-2023

Excellent location. Big room with a spacy balcony/terrace.

Perfect place for families with small children. Pool in the inner yard and games in the tiled hallways made it sure there was no quiet moment (room was quiet though).

    central and clean

    parking expensive

    7JohnPosted on: 5-23-2023

It was in a good location, very handy for old town / castle with a pleasant walk into main promenade and sea front. Close to off the sea front bars, which I assume would be more vibrant during the more active months. The hotel was very clean, bedrooms were superb and staff I engaged with were very friendly.Breakfast was ample, well set out and tasty.

I would say dislike but it was likely quite because it was low season, late April. The hotel was hardly populated so it felt big and empty but it was April, with only a few in for breakfast, which is sometimes a bonus. Bar area was very quiet, they had a good singer but only 4 people including me, so no atmosphere but what I expected. The only issue being that there is limited or no street parking without expensive payment meters and as I recall you could only pay and park for a maximum of 12 or 16 hours. There is an underground car park with hotel but it was 15 euro for a night, I used it for the one night as I had equipment / belongings in my car but, ouch! I did not see any free or cheaper cars parks nearby but did not go looking. The town was not very vibrant and most bars were shut it shut early and there were roads works down one Main Street but, once again, this was about the 24th April and likely it had not got going yet.It was OK, not cheap for an over night stay for me but it was what I expected for the price.

Comfy bed, a good choice of brreakfast, smily and attentive employees, lovely music around the reception and a food hall, amaxing view of Peniscola Castle from hotel room.

Missed having a balcony and tthere was a bit anmoying clicking noise comimg out of the aircon every night ( although did not use the air con)

Breakfast was excellent.Cleaning women were efficient, responding fast and kind.Room was passable in size for 5 people, two adults and three kids, and had a terrace. Cleanliness was OK.

Everything else was disappointing. Large hotel, but not well designed.Front of hotel awkward to check in.Front desk wrongly set up. Front desk personnel not very helpful.Advertisement misleading, hot tub, indoor pool, and jacuzzi, all extra, not included in the booking price. Playroom for kids unavailable.
