Price to value was one of the biggest deltas I have ever paid for.

Not much really

People were smoking everywhere, room was not what was shown in the pictures, amenities and use of facilities have an extra cost (and they close!)

You get what you pay for. Spend the money and go somewhere else.

The hotel has not been updated in years. It felt like an old casino hotel from the early 1980s. The breakfast buffet was awful.

Swimming pools, especiallyheated for our kids.

The juice machine at their breakfast was making coloured sugar water instead of juices.

View from the room on the sea is very nice.Good location on the beach but not near the city center.Good activities for the kids.

There was no car park available when I reached the hotel, I had to park in the car park behind the hotel.The hotel is very crowded with people, and the hotel has the process to book slots for breakfast, lunch & dinner.Quality of food is average.

The set of two excellent adjoining rooms for our family with three kids with big balconies and living room.. Clean and comfortable, very spacious. Big well equipped bathrooms.

The self service menu at the restaurant and the food quality could be a little bit more upper level.

Bedroom comfortable with large beds.Sufficiently warm bedding. Lighting in bathroom first rate. Bidet a bonus. WiFi throughout

Initially, one receptionist refused to accept a Belgian ID and insisted that a passport should be shown. Poor training?Eventually another receptionist overruled and all was well.

Location, friendly staff, front sea view, beach, large rooms, access to washing and drying machines.

Limited access for kids at indoor pool 1h, the need for scheduling everything (pool, breakfast, lunch, dinner, sauna etc), low variation on deserts, indoor parking too tight.

Rooms were reasonable for the location. More three star and than four star. AC in the rooms was very powerful, although it couldn't be adjusted. Staff were friendly and the location was awesome.

Breakfast was disappointing, poor quailty throughout. The juices and coffee from the machines were borderline drinkable. The second day we didn't bother having the paid breakfast and went elsewhere

Spa was good

Pool too crowded. +400 euros for 2 nights too costly

A bit too far away from the old town

Right on the beach. Pool is nice but VERY crowded (visited in peak time- early August). They have beach chairs ( extra fee) which is very nice to have. Also shuttle to old town exclusive for hotel guests (1.50 Euros per person; but it’s much more convenient than the city bus).

Rooms are tiny. Beds are awful. Rooms are dated and have a cheap feel to them. Our shower head wouldn’t stay straight. Staff is competent but not terribly friendly, although that may be because the hotel was so busy (it may also be a cultural thing- we’ve been in Spain for 2 weeks and I’ve found Spanish people to be very cold, at least in the Catalan/Valencia regions). No towels at the pool is a bit chincy and made the scene look like a public pool as everyone has their own towels.

Exceptional

I had a wonderful stay at the Gran Hotel, everything was just perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities one could ask for. The service was outstanding - the staff were always there to talk and very friendly. The food is very good, the location of the hotel was ideal, close to the main attractions and with easy access to public transport. The breakfast was delicious and with a lot of choices. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Will definitely come back again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay

Clean, great staff in check in so polite, helpful and the cleaning ladies are wonderful!!!

Directions to get there are not good! Buffet needs to be explained to new arrivals a few helped but others seemed bothered by our questions.

Rooms outdated, parking garage the worst, front desk personnel no helpfull and no nice attitud with client

Lovely room with two big double beds. Straight out of hotel onto promenade.

Food could be warmer.Plenty of on-site parking but expensive and not much street parking in the surrounding area (most of that is parking metered at peak times of the year).
