So close to the sights . Room was clean Served a purpose.

Room was quite small Also a beside cabinet which blocked at least 1/2 the door of the bathroom. Banged my leg a couple of times. Quite an odd smell in the room when I arrived. Smelt drains or room hadn’t been used for awhile. Had a element of staleness to it. Quick blast of the air con. WiFi was very hit and miss kept throwing me out if I didn’t use it for a short period of time.

Typical Spanish breakfast. Accommodation was quite basic but perfect for beach goers. Peniscola is a venue for Spanish so restaurants welcome children and very friendly. Not many English and very few English speakers.

The price was way too high for what was, but I understand that prices are more reasonable outside peak times.

Very clean & professional help & service Much of the staff spoke English.

Good location and clean

Booked two superior rooms, rooms given were small basic rooms. One room was facing a wall with air con units as a view.Was expecting a balcony but there was only a walkway.Not as described when booking.

Position of hotel was very good central. Clean room.Area bar restaurant all very clean food great value ,castle area amazing will return just not the hotel.

I found parking was all blue pay display here where i live in spain we have break in middle of day,so i did not notice that in this area was 10 till 10,obvs i got a ticket 70e/35e i asked at reception as i couldnt work out how to pay early at the 6.50e they wernt interested at all in helping,i eventually found a machine that would take the fine pay early a bit of help would have been nice as meter right outside hotel never mind plenty hotels round that area ,beautiful place.

Perfect location near everything. Very simple and very small but clean and comfortable room and bathroom.

Problems with wifi, the room was extremely small with no view only small window directed inside the block so If you open it the heat of all air-conditionings and smell of bathrooms comes in.

Near the beach and other facilities. The breakfast was good only 10 euros. The staff were very nice and helpful! They give you suggestions as well!

I didn't like the fact that the clim did not work if the windows are open... You had to choose between having the windows open at night or to take the risk to use the clim when it can close at whenever moment...

I love this property have stayed a few times. Location is brilliant for the town. Staff are friendly and property is very clean.

The hotel has nice staff, cleaning was every day.

There was no place to dry things after the sea. I would like a kettle in the room!) Huge cockroaches crawled into the room several times☹️

Very close to the castle. Air conditioning in the room. Hot water worked. Wifi worked well.

The room and bathroom were nicely updated and very clean. The air conditioner worked extremely well, which was great because it was quite hot when we were there. The room was smaller than we expected, and the shower was a bit of a squeeze, but overall it was a really nice stay. The hotel is just across the plaza from a nice beach area, and very close to the old town. We were also able to store our luggage there for a few hours after checkout, which allowed us to explore the city a bit more before leaving town.

Good basic hotel with everything you need.

Friendly staff, one of whom spoke excellent English. Room was clean and comfortable. A great value hotel for the budget conscious.

The location was great. Near to the beach and main activities. Every day after breakfast the room was cleaned,the bed was made and floors were moped.So the housecleaning service was good.

When we entered our room,the cockroach was smiling at us :D The staff could be more friendlier, i guess,they did not like the fact,that we were not eating meals at their hotel,so when we asked for a plate,the answer was quite rude,although later they apologized,but the uncomfortable feeling never left us after....Also,they don't change the towels,even after we asked for new ones,they said,that they can't do that.

The Location is perfect to move around , very very near to beach and also to castle one Km, staff friendly.

single room was very small and only a small window to a tiny dark inner place. feels a bit claustrophobic

Close to center

Full of mosquitos, no soap in the shower even though there was a dispenser, asked for double bed and got two singles and they were tiny, like for hobbits., What we got was not worth the money, staff was not too nice, was a bit creepy and loud .

Location was nice, 3 mins walking distance to the beach.

Room decor was old and it didn’t even have a small fridge to let cool some water… shampoo & soap were at the same dispenser… some of its towels were stained and the bed sheets too! And the cleaners didn’t even cleaned or change the trash bag and just replace the towels and sweep the floor a bit.

The location was very good. There is a nearby Consum grocery store. The bus stop to arrive and return to Benicarlo is a short walk. The beach is a 5 minute walk and the city center is nearby. I like the elevator to get to my floor.

The single room was very small. I dislike the shower as it is open and water gets on the floor. There is no shower door. The check in took 10 minutes when there was another person at the front desk that did not assist in helping. Soundproofing of the rooms could be better as I could heard people in the next room but they stopped talking when I went to sleep. You will find a good price-value stay here as it was less expensive than other places in the area.
