No iron or kettle in the room

This is a lovely hotel right on the sea with a great outlook. It has very friendly reception staff and plenty of free and safe parking. The bar by the pool is good as is the main bar. Peniscola is an interesting town if a bit touristy in the old part. Isn't everywhere?

The only thing that lets this place down is the dining. The half board dinner was absolutely awful, much like school food from the old days. It's probably the standard fare offered to long term winter lets. The breakfast buffet is really no better, with luke warm greasy fried eggs and chewy bacon. Hard bread, stale pastries and so on which are no doubt wheeled out every day. A grouchy woman clatters about constantly clearing and laying up tables so any peace is out of the question.

central location, clean and comfortable

The location, was amazing, also the decoration was very nice. The parking for free pitch perfect. Located across the street from the sea. A return for sure.

The room where we stayed had some funny smell, located on the hotel entrance floor. The noise at 6:00 am was very annoying. We only stayed for 1 night, and maybe that's why they gave us that room. If it had been for longer, I want to believe that they would have assigned us a room somewhere in a quieter place. But, I will recommend it anyway.

Food and location

There were bed bugs in the mattress, and management stated that it is us who brought them in a suit cases.Management called the exterminator and moved us to another room, provided us with food on the day of leave, however it very unpleasant when they blamed on us. Bed bugs were huge and lived in a mattress, it is impossible for them to move from suitcases to mattress the same day. We did not have any bites, while using transportation to the hotel, we were bitten after spending night in the hotel...

The location is lovely and quiet, with private beach. You can rent parasol and sunbeds with 12.5 euros daily. The parking is large and you can choose a covered parking or not covered for free. The food was fresh, delicious and varied and the room was clean and spacious. I totally recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Location, free parking, nice staff, small swimming pool

Room was spacey and very nice but it is a few steps down the surface and bathroom in the back was a little damp.

A good 'old school' hotel. Easy, secure, sheltered parking. Friendly staff, older styling but not tired or daggy, just of it's era. Good breakfast. Easy walk into the centre along the path or beach. A pleasant stay.

The hotel and room was bright and roomy and made our Wedding Anniversary special.

this hotel retains great character from the past,with good facilities, great breakfast buffet, nice garden/bar area and pool. The room was well appointed with a nice balcony facing the sea.

Wonderful property located in easily accessible location with secure parking area. Great access to different areas on the beach, and also across from the beach. Good place to walk and explore.

Vintage decor emblematic of the rich history of Peñiscola. The common areas, dining room, lobby, garden and pool were beautifully maintained and attractive. The free parking was appreciated but very tight spaces for anything bigger than a compact car. Breakfast service was exceptional.

The room smelled musty upon entrance and remained so until we opened the windows and aired it out. Beds were too small, narrow and short.

The hotel has a very traditional look, all the amenities and comforts you need for your stay. The staff super nice and helpful. Parking lot. Very close to the town center and has pool and beach right there. 10/10

No complaints

Amazing location. Really central for everything you’d want to do/see in Peniscola. Great fresh breakfast selection. Easy check in and lovely rooms.

The two single beds pushed together to make a double move very easily and left a large gap between them making it very easy fall between them if you rolled over in the night.

Just opposite the beach. Beautiful views of the sea. Old world charm. Staff were very helpful.
