Hotel Tio Pepe

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived but 20-25 minutes period someone showed up and helped us

The location is great, very close to the beach, bars and restaurants.

The weather was awful and everything was closed. Admittedly we were there out of season but we couldn't even find somewhere to get a coffee at 16:30There were no tea / coffee facilities in the room and we'd had a 5 hour drive in heavy rain.

Position to seafront. It was very quiet at night. Room was very clean

The hotel is very close to the beach, within two minutes walking distance.

The beds were not comfortable, sinking towards the middle.

Personal very friendly, room very clean, everything in the neighboorhood. Heard later they have a Nice restaurant as well Will find that out for the next time.

Hotel was clean and very centrally located just a short walk to the beach and ten minutes up the hill to the old town. Lots of restaurants nearby. We only stayed one night but we would be happy to return. Hotel Tip Pepe was perfect for our needs and Peniscola is beautiful.

Everything was good

Great location, right in centre close to castle and lots of bars and restaurants. Room very clean and tidy. Shower room good size with powerful water flow. Nice comfortable bed.Great place for short visit.

Lack of parking facility. Had to pay for expensive 24hr underground parking near beach. Downside of being a centrally located hotel. Otherwise all good and would stay again.

I loved the location, just at the heart of Peñiscola at walking distance of the castle, the seaside, and lots of restaurants.Also, I forgot an item in the room and the hotel staff were great at getting it sent back to me.

Rooms were not very big

The location is truely amazing! So close to the beach, supermarket and lots of restaurants. The room was very clean and the air conditioning was very welcomed as the days where very hot and humid. The staff were lovely, we enjoyed our stay!

The hotel location was good, close to the sea. The hotel and room were clean and well taken care of. The room for two people was small but comfortable. There were several restaurants and small grocery stores in the neighborhood.

From the moment we arrived we felt unwelcome and unacknowledged. We were told by one of the owners that the hotel was 'closed for the day, employees were taking a day off, and come back in a half hour when the room is ready'. This was of course confusing. During the rest of our stay, our questions or 'buenos dias' were met with barely 1-2 word acknowledgements. There was NO friendliness or welcoming attitude. We felt extremely unwelcome; which was confusing in light of the reviews stating the staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning of the room included a powerful deodorizer which caused allergic reactions.

Central, comfortable hotel room. Well heated, nice bathroom and good breakfast.

Could have a common place for hot water for tea or coffee.
