This award-winning boutique wilderness retreat features an on-site restaurant and is located among peaceful rainforest surroundings. Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park is only 40 minutes away. Free WiFi and free parking are available. Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat offers spacious self-contained cabins, and luxury suites with spa bath and mountain views. Whispering Woods restaurant is open every day for breakfast and dinner. Takeaway packed lunches can be organized if ordered the night before. The wine list showcases wines from across Tasmania. The guest lounge features an open log fireplace. There are many walking trails through the forest surrounding the lodge. Cradle Mountain National Park is a 35-minute drive from the property, while Launceston is a 2 hours' drive away.

- Great location and wonderful walks Great staff
- The room was so cosy, inviting and very clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful as well. We came at a very quiet time which made it feel as though we had the whole place to ourselves which made for a lovely atmosphere for us as a newly engaged couple! The included breakfast was a great touch and the restaurant does amazing meals for brekky and dinner

- Nothing
- While we loved the communal games area we felt it needed a bit of TLC and some upgrades. A few things were missing, broken or just a bit old which we didnt mind being in our late twenties and made it all work for us but may make it not so appealing for kids/teenagers.
- Nil Just the location is a bit far away to cradle mountain
