    Pros +

    • The spa was very nice and affordable.
    • Beautifully restored and modernized property.Beautiful and thoroughly interesting art collection, much of it Thai.Staff extraordinarily friendly and nice, and efficient.
    • Great location, friendly stuff and spacious room. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of food. We didn't try the SPA but it seemed nice.

    Cons -

    • The rooms did not have a microwave. As there were limited restaurants in the area, it would have been nice to have this for snacks.
    • Can’t think of anything. The restaurant is good, but not great and value for money only okay.
    • The room felt quite old and in need of refurbishment. The stones at the entrance were broken, and the drainage in the bathroom was poor — the sink took a very long time to empty. There were also no hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels. We had requested a crib for our baby in advance, but it wasn’t in the room upon arrival. We had to call several times and eventually go to the reception ourselves before it was provided.

Such a beautiful property in a beautiful place! Staying here was such a lovely escape into the mountains. The villa was spacious and felt very luxurious. The property itself was also very fun to wander around and find different areas to relax - particularly loved the library! Wished we had a few more days to settle in here and enjoy the property - could have easily dedicated multiple days of our trip to staying here!

more vegetarian options at the restaurant

Great location. Big parking lot right in front of the hotel. The pool was amazing – I didn’t think I would use it, but we ended up relaxing there almost every day after long walks. There’s also a restaurant for dinner. Right from the hotel, there’s a beautiful hiking trail that takes a couple of hours and goes through very different landscapes (including a church on a hill). I’m really glad I chose this hotel instead of staying in Aínsa, as I originally planned. Staying in Aínsa doesn’t make much sense – it’s easier to just drive there from Boltaña in 5 minutes.

I didn’t like the breakfast. Maybe for the area it’s considered varied, but there were almost no hot dishes (they could at least offer some kind of porridge). The coffee from the machines was terrible – it tasted different every time. The staff at breakfast were not friendly, even a bit rude. Also, the plates were really small and uncomfortable to use.

The property is located in a picturesque setting, and the hotel is beautiful. The pool personnel were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth.

There was some grime in the shower, and the rooms seemed a bit run down.

    Beautiful property and grounds

The front desk ladies were quite standoffish and not welcoming. The pool guys were great however.

    Beautiful interior design, grogeous views

they charged me 20€ for late checkout without mentioning anything about a surcharge when requested

Beautiful locations, kind staff, good facilities.

It was weird getting towels (they gave us a card instead of having them out). The gym was fine, but could definitely use a refresh.

Nice place, out of the village in a building of an old monastery. The main building has nice areas of relax with a relaxing and quiet lobby, but…

We booked a “villa” which was one of the pricey options, but our experience was far from a 5 star. At the first place, the villa is not in the main building of the hotel. So the usage of the facilities, especially with bad weather conditions is very complex. You cannot go directly to the SPA or the restaurant, you have to go with your coat and belongings. With a child the situation is more difficult so we couldn’t enjoy the hotel facilities. Also SPA is charged apart from the already expensive room price. The room floor wasn’t very clean, the tank in the bathroom was continuously giving problems releasing water, and there was only coffee and two bottles of water (not even a bag of tea) in the mini bar. The room needed a very good refurbishment and reform as everything in it was far from a 5 star quality.

The stony building is amazing. Rooms and food are appropriate. Service is average and mostly kind.

I needed to hold an online meeting and one manager asked me to use the library for such purpose. And that was great, but another manager speaking loudly in the corridors would insist to keep the library doors open - disrupting my online meetings time, I a library where I was the only guest. That incident was resolved luckily.

Nice clean and organised place with plenty of normal amenities.

The check-in. There is good, bad, and oh my God......and this was the latter. The whole process of check-in took nearly 1 hour, and nothing to do with the staff - the system itself was a failure, and what the back office had done all day....who knew......

The spa was super relaxing, a magnificent circuit and the breakfast was impecable with a lot of choices to choose from.

    8AdiPosted on: 1-4-2025

Spacious rooms good towels good insulation in nature

The staff was pretty cold the water in the spa not hot enough the food was not the best

    7JaimePosted on: 12-31-2024

The monastery is stunning, and the coming areas, specially the seating address just beginning reception were really comfortable and chic. The size of the room was good

The spa has to be bought separately even though the booking.com listing features plenty of pictures of it. This people at reception, and subsequently the people at the spa entrance also 'forgot' to mention this fact at all, and it was only the third time we bluntly asked 'do we have to pay for using the spa when they mentioned the fact you do have to pay 25€/person for 1h. The restaurant prices were also extortionate compared to anything in the surrounding area.

We were on motorbike holiday and only used the pool which was really nice area with a bar (drinks were bit to expensive). But all was well kept and clean.

No secure motorbike parking. Now I'm not saying some tried to steal my bike but it defiantly had been moved as the disc locks were against the forks !!

This is our second time. Love the location, services offered and rooms.

The cafeteria staff for dinner was not very professional. I couldn’t eat certain things because of my health situation and we asked to have some changes in our sandwiches. The first time they sent without any changes. We sent it back. Then they sent the sandwich with a piece of bread and 4 slices of not melted cheese. No vegetables, no sauce, nothing. Disgusting. And the lady server was angry, not smiling and in a rush

    9JonathanPosted on: 10-28-2024

The rooms and bathrooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent.

The restaurant is very nice but the price for dinner is rather expensive . There wasn't a menu 'Del dia' either.

    7GracePosted on: 10-8-2024

Friendly and helpful staff, and the hotel was very clean and well kept. Great breakfast but not included.

Pool was closed and additional charge for using indoor spa facilities was unclear. Difficult to find information about surrounding trails and no vegan (limited vegetarian) lunch and dinner options.

    Wonderful building and interesting interior

Needs an indoor pool instead of all the jacuzzis!
