Hotel Vielha Val d'Arán, Affiliated by Meliá

Needed a 2 bed option for my son and I. Staff ensured it happened even with last minute booking. Beautiful location, and staff was very knowledgeable. Recommended great places to eat. Stay was very pleasant.

Nothing noted here, except would like A/C to work year round, as the room was very warm.

Location at the biggest county closest to Baqueira

Old installations, rooms not spaceable and adequate for skiers. Needs an urgent refurbishment. Pool limited and restricted for kids just during 2 hours at the evenings.

Perfect location, steps from Town center. Parking easy and right in front. Super buffet breakfast. Huge lobby and sitting areas on main floor. All staff were very friendly and special mentioned to front desk Cassie for her advice regarding hiking.

Nothing I didn’t like

Eveything was very good! We would recommend to stay there with kids to enjoy Vall Valley as it is very well located and the option with breakfast and dinner was very convenient for us (with good price per money).

The only point I'd improve is to offer at least 1 day free-pass to the swimming pool in your stay, we did not like to have to pay for the pool specially with kids that you do not know how long you will be, maybe in ten min you are bored and paid 20 euros (as we are 4). Kids pay like adults... this can be improved too

Good location and very nice staff. Breakfast was a good showing. Beds very comfortable, even the sofa bed. Interesting looking town.

Our room was a family room and it was hot as anything when we got in there. And the ac did. It work at all. Luckily this town is in the mountains and it cooled at night and they did bring us a portable ac unit. While things were clean, it was obvious that care had not been taken with upkeep (the grout in the shower was not something I would have in my home) and it wasn’t inexpensive in comparison with other spots in Spain.

Room was big and comfotable it was duplex. the breakfast was good and had a lot of options to choose. We really liked the location, quiteness and quality of the hotel. It was possible to rent a ski in the hotel if you book them in advance, but there were a lot of options around it as well, 5 min walk. also big free city parking just in front of the hotel. 20-40 min drive to the ski resort, depends on traffic on weekends it is really bad. Oposite the hotel there was a skating ring and public swimming pool.

it was very hot in the room on the second floor. otherwise everything was perfect.

Rooms are a bit old, but clean and cosy! Liked the real fireplace at the main lobby. Very welcoming stuff at the reception desk! And also the breakfast was unexpectedly good! Plus parking is free near the hotel!

Voir ma revue Google :Avoid this hotel !You pay like 250€ for what they say is a duplex room.But at 6pm you have the neighbor on the left talking on the phone like if he was in your room. You say to yourself OK, the night will be betterAt 10pm some ladies on the other come back and start taking loud, but since there is no sound insulation, you hear everything.The worth was at 7:30am the kid started to shout out for at least 1.5 hours when her mother started too.Very, very bad experience

Great location, nice size rooms, good breakfast & very helpful staff . Free parking next to hotel & good restaurants close by.

Only negatives all rooms should have a kettle / coffee machine , bathrooms need updating. Spa also needs an update & there should be adult only hours as it gets very busy.

Breakfast was really good! Hot chocolate and churros /pastries in the evening where a plus! Super nice staff at bar!

The spa facilities need some modernisation. The steam room wasn’t working, the jacuzzi is cold and the pool was cloudy. The fireplace filled the whole lobby with an unpleasant smoke , not nice at all!

Lovely hotel in the centre of town. Lots of easy free parking outside. Staff are lovely and helpful. Great bar and lounge area with hot chocolate and abundant pastries apres ski.

Room ok but the walls of the room are so thin we could hear next doors conversations and kids running around corridors. The spa is tired, too much chlorine, hot tub lukewarm and kids allowed in so felt more like a holiday park than a relaxing spa.

The breakfast was great, super complete with multiple options for alternative diets available. Products were fresh and tasty and it had a great variety. The room was big enough, the bed was huge and comfortable.The staff were very nice and helpful.

The access to the spa is limited

Swimming with children was limited to a timeslot of a few afternoon hours per day and had to be booked in advance, would be good to have known in advance

A great hotel. Centrally located , good secure garage parking, nice, friendly helpful staff. Good value for money compared to some other hotels in which we have stayed in the area.
