A super hotel in a lovely area. Our comfortable, stylish room had wonderful views over the valley. We stayed half board which meant we were able to enjoy extremely tasty food in the restaurant at a very reasonable cost.

    All was good

Property is in a lovely location idea for travelling over the Pyrenees mountains. Easy free parking

The spa facilities were very expensive

    Comfortable and clean room.

There was a very noisy large wedding on the night we stayed, this meant the main restaurant was not open to us neither was the lounge, so it was impossible to have a nice meal or relax afterwards. The noise from departing wedding guests also kept us away from 2am until 3.30am!! We had to sleep with the window open because yet again this Parador did not have the air conditioning operational (we stayed at a small hotel one hour away the night before and even they had working air conditioning). I would suggest that when this Parador hits large events like a wedding it should not sell rooms to regular clients. A terrible nights stay! And only two TV stations on the television!!

Beautifully situated historic hotel where for a slight price increase we were able to upgrade to a balcony room with beautiful view of the mountains. Rooms and bathrooms were lovely and very spacious.

Was a short drive to get into the town of Vielha but the spectacular views made up for it.

Very clean, beautiful location and scenery.

Beds were a little hard, no tea making facilities. The hotel was noisy at night, floors very thin and you could hear trolleys being moved around when trying to sleep.

Very good facilities, dinning room and swimming pool

    Car park a bit small

People were v nice and competent.Pool.Breakfast good except coffee Fantastic Mountain views.

The outside is ugly and in bad need of renovation. The place short handed. So some areas are unattended. The hotel is within a few meters of the N230 linking Sp and France so it is very noisy. Our room was ok but phone not working and ditto bathroom fan so it stank.

Good value Parador, we stayed for two nights on our tour of the Pyrenees, we had a room with a balcony with a great view over the valley down to the town, there is plenty of carparking and the grounds were well maintained. Food was great and the bar and restaurant staff spoke really good English and were all very hard working and attentive, we were especially impressed by the chap that looked after us at breakfast who could swap between several languages depending on who he was serving.

Some noisy maintenance being carried out inside the hotel while we were there, also carpets on the landings looked very stained, and there were signs of wear and tear in the room and bathroom looked a bit tired. we were not given much info from reception when checking in, and could have used facilities if we had been told about them.

Our second room had good views and was sufficiently away from the traffic to open the windows. The dinner was good.

The Hotel is on an island with the main France/Spain road running round it, the first room we were allocated looked over this road which attracts a large lorry use. Initial impression is good but on closer inspection maintenance has not been well maintained. The ceiling in the lounge sitting area shows water damage and some lamp shades had areas burnt. The Hotel is well used and not up to Parador usual standards. It is remote from the town with no safe pedestrian route to Vielha.

The location is superb, the staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The spa is too expensive, there could be tea and coffee making facilities in the room

    10MartinPosted on: 6-8-2024

Lovely stay unforeseen as we could not get into France as the farmers were blocking the road .Angle in the breakfast room was a delight and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.A little gem, unlike the Maitre D in the evening dining room, he needs to smile more and not be so uptight.

The austere building from outside. The inside was spectacular in the public areas.

Breakfast service. Hot food was enquired by the waitress as you sat down and it was served within seconds. Didn’t have chance to get anything else beforehand!

Very comfortable, clean and well appointed bedrooms.

Staff were abrupt. The restaurant was poor. Staff spilt wine over my husband and didn’t offer an apology. Food was poorly presented and was generally poor standard. We stayed at another Parador hotel the following day that had a similar selection on the menu, however, the meals tasted much better and were nicely presented by friendly staff.

    Pleasant staff and good restaurant.

The whole hotel was over-heated, to an uncomfortable degree, and the individual bedroom thermostats are difficult to use.
