Great location and breakfast

We arrived after a long drive from north of Scotland so would have slept in a barn! Our room was OK for one night but there was no ventilation. There was a window in the roof but it was high and we had no means to open it. Also the sliding door to the en suite didn't close over properly so no privacy!We have stayed here several times before and usually had lovely rooms so we were disappointed but too tired to say anything to the proprietor.

great place for a stopover before an early morning flight from beziers....safe and plentiful parking, great very clean room, very peaceful, close to all the interesting old area for good shops and restaurants

The breakfast was adequate. Enough choice and a machine for coffee. It was a secure hotel with key pad entry. 10 minutes walk from the town centre.The choice to pay up front before going or at the end of the stay.

Tiny bar of soap was provided in the bathroom. Had to buy some shower gel.

Inexpensive for a break of travelling.

Really tired looking and breakfast was not good.

Would have liked a kettle in my room! Could have brought my own teabags and coffee!!

Quiet, handy location

Thought there was a pool due to pictures on booking.com. There was a pool but for private use. Misleading! Even more when instructions in room referred to getting pool towels on request!!

Great location, 10 minute walk into town. Good on-site parking. We had a light evening meal from the Traiteur and ate it in the restaurant, this worked very well for us.Friendly staff.

Not a bad walk to town

Room was small, no tea making facilities or water in the room. Some sites are showing this hotel with a pool, slightly disappointing as the pool is now private, not for guests!

No swimming pool. No tea and coffee facilities or water. Entire building closed daily from 12 noon until 5.00 with access only to bedrooms.

Pleasant

No swimming pool! Despite being listed in amenities and photos on the booking.com website the pool was now closed to guests! It was locked behind gates and although we could see it invitingly from our bedroom window we were told it was not open to guests.No tea/coffee and very basic toiletries. Didn't bother with breakfast, we went into town instead.

Friendly staff of one but this was fine-she could do everything.

We were assigned a room which was separated by a small distance from our neighbour, the intervening space being enclosed. The window did not face outside but only the enclosed space as did the neighbour`s. Had very little sleep as neighbour was very noisy.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner, understandable off season but it wasn't apparent when booking.

Interesting dinner but would have preferred a restaurant meal. We chose from the traiteur selection and it was microwaved. Sounds off but it was actually delicious.Room was ok. Quite small but bathroom fine if in need of refurbishment. Staff were really lovely and helpful.All in all it was a pleasant stay for one night.

Poor soundproofing. Noisy until very late and think we must have had a bottle bank outside our window. Heating system for water kept clicking in in the early hours and adjoining bathrooms left little to the imagination.The bolster pillow was horrid. I like a pillow to myself.

Restaurant closed no response to enquiry about food

Very good location in residential area with schools but less than a 10min walk to the historic centre of the town. So much to see and do and very good choice of bars and restaurants. Secure private parking a bonus. Also as the weather was very hot the crystal clear pool was a great extra. We used it every day. Very good choices at breakfast …buffet style. Hotel restaurant offers a very good lunch too. There is a small traiteur on site as well.

The door at the top of the stairs leading to the rooms was a bit tricky to negotiate with bags and if someone was either trying to come out or using the linen cupboards at the same time. A shame that the owners were not a little more engaging given we were there for 4 nights.
