Brit Hotel Marvejols

I was sorely disappointed with this hotel given its rating online. The layout of the room was great with a double bed and a bunk bed for our family of four. When we got to our room, I was overwhelmed by the smell of cat pee. Also, the wifi was broken.

The smell in the room was horrific, and the carpet didn't seem clean at all. Also, the wifi was broken and it was an inconvenience since I was trying to connect to work.

Good for a one night stopover. We were travelling from Spain and the hotel was within easy reach from the highway. Parking on site not a problem. Breakfast was sufficient and the food was fresh.

Rooms were clean but a bit outdated. We booked a family room and got the handicapped room. Do not expect anything from the abandoned old village it is located in, save for one good restaurant called Le Carre.

Location is excellent, spacious car park, ultra clean and tidy.

No air con - but I knew that when I booked so not an issue.

The pool was closed in the summer. The bar was closed although they said it was open.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room and good value for money. (We booked at the last moment as we needed to stop on our way from Amsterdam to Valencia and we were more than happy with this property).Since we stayed there only for one night and checked-out quite early, we can't say much about the property facilities in general, only about our room which was great for parents with 2 kids (in our case 1 kid). But I would like to say what we saw: nice swimming pool and area around it (including a play ground for kids), also nice dining area where I believe one can enjoy their breakfast, lunch or dinner. When we came the restaurant was closed, but for those who are very hungry there is a pizza-automat just next to the accommodation. It's super handy and the pizza (considering the fact that it's an automat) is pretty good. The area is lovely, you are surrounded by the beautiful nature and relaxed atmosphere. I would say that it could be an ideal place for a short family vacation.

Great friendly staff, very welcoming. The property has parking right outside the property. The room was very clean and convenient for a overnight stay during our road trip. The only element that could have been better was to having an AC facility in the room as there was a family of 4 with children.

Staff is really polite, always helpful and attentive.The family rooms are good for a short stay. The town is very charming. There are a few restaurants, supermarket and bakeries nearby.

Maybe the staff can explain when you check in that there are different areas of parking and where is more convenient to park according to your room position.

No tea or coffee making facilities available in the room

The breakfast was good and varied. My son loved the pool and the climbing frame. Staff were polite, responsive and helpful. Beds were comfy and they provided two fans in the room. Overall, it was great for relaxing during our stopover.

The room was a tad small, bathroom was quite small and lacked ventilation.

Room was super clean and quiet, away from the traffic noise. Functional and fitted with all necessary equipment.

Very comfortable beds and good shower. Helpful staff. Easy location to find. Easy car parking. Perfect for a one-night stop on our journey.
