Hotel Villa De Almazan

Room was relatively spacious and clean.

Hotel was a long way from the center. First room we were assigned had been smoked in. Then we noticed ashtrays in the hallways, so it seems smoking on the premises is supported. Second room we could not get the AC to work, so went to front desk to ask for help. The main manager went up to room, all in a huff, and rudely gesticulated that we were stupid because ... if a window was open (we had opened it a bit), the AC would not turn on. Not sure how anyone was supposed to intuitively know this, but the manager's rudeness was beyond appalling. I would recommend against any stay here if you are a tourist.

Receptionist walked away after I gave her my reservation to attend a client at the restaurant… I actually had to ask her to come back.The room and bathroom were freezing cold, bathroom no means to warm - Thermostat? Safe did not work, standing lamp was unplugged because of missing lightbulb. …

Great place, easy to reach, with a large parking area and within walking distance to a very interesting little town. Staff has been very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Quiet hotel within walking distance of the town. Large clean comfortable well equipped room. Secure free parking. Allowed early check-in.

Evening meal in the restaurant was disappointing with fairly limited choice and poor value for money.

This hotel is in a very small town,it is the best option in Almazan, breakfast is free but basic, very little English spoken by anyone, we were the only Americans staying there, it was adequate and what we expected for the price.

It is an older hotel but the best you can do in this small town.

Only down side was nothing available to eat on arrival till 9pm. However superb bar and tapas available 8 minute walk down the road towards town at entrance to park

The hotel was spotless, our room was very comfortble as were the beds. It had a lovely big bathroom and good shower. Everything was to hand. The hotel restaurant and bar was a must if you don't want to drive again. The menu of the day was very reasonable and very tasty. Breakfast was continental and plentiful. The staff were very helpful too. A good stopover on the way to Santander.

Just a little further out of town to be able walk around and explore.

Very nice hotel, good outside parking or secure under hotel. Good meal at hotel. Water, wine 3 courses and coffee. 12e. Short walk into old town.

Breakfast was a disaster. All the day they offer you salami and chorizo. Without vegetables, without something hot meal. Very, very poor breakfast and totaly unhealthy!
