Hotel Bel Horizon

The host is fantastic, nothing too much trouble, rooms are spacious & comfortable, excellent bath/shower room.Very good serve yourself breakfast, all meats cheese, drinks kept in fridge!

Excellent stop for a journey from Kent to Costa Brava. The room was clean, larger than most 2 star ⭐ hotels, bed was comfortable, good bathroom and shower, excellent breakfast, good WiFi. The hotel is family owned and run and we were warmly welcomed and looked after at breakfast. A particularly useful extra was the usb port integral to the bedside lights.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room - I have yet to find a French hotel that appreciates how important this is to English visitors - we now take our own travel kettle, tea bags and milk.

Lovely and very welcoming/helpful lady at the front desk. The room is basic but very clean, with a balcony overlooking the village and fields. Exclusive parking right outside. Restaurants and shops are just a short walk through this pretty town. The bathroom is very modern and clean, and the bed very comfortable.

I would have given this an 8.0 rating, except there were no facilities at all in the room. No fridge, no safe, no ironing board, not even a kettle. A couple of other things that might put some people off -- no elevator (lift) and WiFi is slow. So it's OK for an overnight stop (not far from the highway) but there needs to be more to make this worth a longer stay.

Super nice woman greeted us and took exceptionally great care of us, including helping us to get dinner as we were on bicycles and most restaurants were closed in Sunday evening. I can’t say enough as to how exceptionally well cared for we were!

Loved the room (with balcony). Nice view towards the town. Peaceful. Very comfortable bed and good shower.Owner very kind, when I enquired if there was a ground floor room, which there isn’t, she showed me the stairs and offered to cancel the booking without charge. There was a useable bannister so we stayed and glad we did. The lounge bar and breakfast were unavailable hence not full mark for facilities. But again we were given a tray with kettle, cups and coffee, not usually in the room. Would recommend and stay again

Clean well equipped room of good size

Only bedding was duvet which was far too warm!

Breakfast was excellent, and the home-made croissants to die for.The room was very comfy.

The bedside lights did not work properly. There was no loo brush.There is no restaurant, and of the five recommended by the hotel for dinner, one was only open in July and August (it was September), one was only open at midday and two others were basically burger joints. That left a choice of one, and the food there was at best average and much of it was poor. Obviously that was not our hotel's fault, but it is a serious argument against staying there again.

No extractor fan in bathroom. No help finding a restaurant locally. Bar/lounge closed before 21.00.

We arrived on a Monday and all the restaurants were closed. We found a supermarket and the hotel were very happy to let us use their crockery, cutlery etc.

The location is good in terms of travelling on through France. Breakfast very good value for the price. A pleasant little hotel.

a small table and chairs on the balcony, otherwise, what is the point of a balcony if you can't sit out on it with your glass of wine?
