About
Parador de Lerma is a striking 17th-century palace converted into a unique hotel. It has a popular restaurant with a wide range of traditional regional dishes with modern touches. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The Parador de Lerma dominates the charming town of Lerma. Once used by King Felipe III, it has a large central courtyard. The spacious bedrooms in the Parador de Lerma are decorated in a classical style. They have antique furniture and terracotta tiles on the floor. They all have TVs and air conditioning. Set in an original part of the building, the Parador de Lerma’s restaurant has a grand vaulted ceiling and paintings on the walls. The small town of Lerma has kept many buildings from the 16th century. It has a number of good restaurants. Lerma is also ideal for visiting the city of Burgos, which is just 19 mi away. Covarrubias and Santo Domingo del Silos are also both nearby.

- Breathtaking historical hotel in the center of this charming town. The building is 5 stars as is the service. Huge comfortable rooms including great bathrooms. Food is superb in the dining room for dinner and a lavish breakfast spread. Perfect location.
Cons -
- No complaint's. Everything was really good
- We had 2 glasses that were served to us that were broken. And easily seen. Chips, cracks. Dangerous.
- I didn't expect the room to contain a broken sofabed that could not be sat on, never mind slept in.

It's in the town where my ancestors came from! Giving th former palace of the Duke of Lerma a new purpose has really helped the local economy.
I didn't expect the room to contain a broken sofabed that could not be sat on, never mind slept in.
Spectacular building, decor, furniture, rooms... amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast - we were spoilt for choice. Beds extremely comfortable. Very luxurious.
We are in the hotel restaurant, I ordered beef tenderloin but unfortunately it was 80%fat, it really did spoil my dinner, but as my partner had already finished, I didn't complain
We stayed two nights and the room on the second night (302) was FANTASTIC, thanks to David at the front desk who was able to switch it for us. See below for notes about the first room (404) which is dark and depressing.
The first night we stayed in a dungeon room. We were excited to hear we’d be on the 4th floor, thinking it would have sweeping views of the countryside. But the rooms this high up in the castle are essentially in the attic with one small window. Very dark and cavernous.
Amazing building with very confortable rooms. Located in the center of the town, with free parking. Excellent breakfast, though expensive.
Breakfast was outstanding. Great value, great variety.
Gym could have more equipment.
It’s location and easy access to parking and eating places
Breakfast was too expensive for what was offered.
The whole experience which you expect from a Parador, great location, beautiful decor, large bedrooms, great breakfasts.
The room and the views from the room
Some milk in the room for tea in the morning
Location , interior design ,dinner choice.
Not very friendly staff in general.
Room was Ok, breakfast OK but dinner mediocre.
The dinner, one dish, was poor
Beautiful palace, room with amazing view of the gardens. Very friendly staff.
A very grand and opulent hotel. The staff were helpful , cheerful and very professional. We are impressed
Beautiful place. Magnificent central colonnaded coffee lounge. Bedroom comfortable. Good breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
One bulb was missing in the central light in the bedroom and one of the washbasins didn't empty. A few adjustments needed there.
Beautiful historic building that has been adapted as a hotel superbly
Good for an overnight stop but minimal attraction in the town
Great staff, excellent property! Most comfortable night so far on our 13 day trip. Desk and restaurant staff were lovely and patient as we fumbled through speaking our terrible Spanish
As nit-picky as it sounds, I prefer more decor inside the room. Walls were bare, largely.
Right in the heart of the town, parking on plaza outside, spacious room and bathroom
Couldn’t switch TV off, it kept coming on during the night and waking us up, had to switch the central light switch off in the end
The building is very impressive with an atmosphere of splendour. Interesting architecture.Spacious rooms.
Some of the Staff require training to a better standard when dealing to the public.2 were pleasant 2 were unbelievably unhelpful. In fact, The Parador was very hot everywhere: public areas as well as the in the rooms. They were unconcerned about it.

Children up to 12 years old using extra beds will be charged 25% of the standard room rate per child, per night. The town of Lerma celebrates the Patron Saint Festival between the 30 August and the 9 September, with music and attractions until the early hours. For this reason, the Parador cannot guarantee the peace and quiet that it would usually hope to offer. During the festivities, the Plaza Mayor and Plaza de San Blas will be closed off to parking. You will be able to park at the rear of the hotel or in the hotel garage, with an additional cost. Please note that drinks are not included in the Half Board and Full Board rates.
