Wow - what a beautiful place to stay. We’ll definitely be back. The hotel was superb and the bar and restaurant was great just a short walk away. Excellent value for breakfast and the hosts were really helpful in sorting a secure location for our motorcycles although we didn’t need to worry as there were about 30 other bikes in the town overnight.
We have visited 12 properties in our trip across the north of Spain, this property were the best at covid protection methods. We felt completely safe. The room was small but clean with all amenities excluding the kettle. An anathema to Spanish accommodation. The view from the window was beautiful, across the fields and hills. Close to the centre of the town, 5 min walk and had a second property a little down the road for breakfast and evening drinks. Although breakfast was 7€ pp extra, it was well worth it. WiFi was good in the hotel. SOS del Tey was beautiful, all you would expect from a village on a hill.
As usual a kettle was absent but a Dolce machine was in the corridor, but the pods were difficult to use .
Although it is not an old building in one of the lovely town centre streets, it is no more than a hundred yards from the edge of the old town and it is easy to park on the quiet street outside. The room was clean and comfortable and made a great base for a two-night stay. Walking in the hills can begin virtually by stepping out of the hotel. The same family owns a good café-bar just down the road and the town has plenty of other good places, all within very easy walking distance.
