Pros +
- Great location and quiet! AC was a plus.
- Clean. Good breakfast for money.
- Quiet, comfortable, and restful stay. Air conditioner was appreciated in upper floor room. Wonderful location right on Camino del Norte.
Cons -
- When checking in, woman was not friendly—we felt as if we were interrupting. She didnt tell us that there was an elevator though she saw our two heavy bags. No mention of wifi—had to ask another guest (info was in elevator!). No one was very friendly.
- Avoiding head banging on sloped ceiling was a personal challenge ?
- The triple bed room (apartment 57) is in a separate building which was confusing for me to find. The rooms don’t have air conditioning or much ventilation. There’s definitely “character” but to me it smelled musty. One of the cabinets had a very smelly mop. The hotel itself may be nice. I definitely wouldn’t want to stay in this apartment again.

Lovely large room with air conditioning. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Room was very comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was very spacious.
Clean, functional room. Helpful staff. Proximity to the Camino del Norte and restaurants and sights in Comilla.
I liked the location and the staff were friendly.

Good value in a good location just outside the town center.
My room was notify because people kept slamming the door at the end of the hall that goes to the lobby/bar.
Beautiful location and town! Great for exploring. Breakfast was overpriced for what was served, but convenient. The staff were friendly and showed us where to explore! Highly recommend.
Location was good, walking distance to most attractions. Easy and free parking just in front of the entrance. Nice and friendly staff.
Breakfast selection was limited. Scrambled eggs was putting on an open plate which was cold.
Very comfortable, had free parking and within easy walking distance of all the main sights. Comillas is a hidden gem and visiting the Gaudi designed house a highlight of our trip.
Great property which is in a good location easy to walk into town and has private parking. Room was nice and opened to a small balcony. Staff were friendly and breakfast was simple but tasty. Only thing is that I think there should be tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom as really like making when I first wake up. Otherwise all good! Thanks
The staff are wonderful, helpful and very friendly. The location is perfect for some of the most beautiful buildings in Comillas and the Camino del Norte. And there's a great Italian restaurant nearby. Lastly, have the breakfast it was delicious. We want to come back.
Fun staff, good room, great breakfast.
Awful. The hotel was closed and we were accommodated in an apartment block with no facilities whatever
The hotel was closed and locked up which we were not informed of
Location.
The GPS did not find the street address, but did bring to the hotel when entering "Hotel Tejo de Comillas"
Wonderful room with a nice patio. Easy parking and excellent staff.
All good
Step-free entrance, parking near to entrance in own car park, lift and some rooms with step free walk in showers - good for my partner who has reduced mobility. The location is good, on outskirts of Comillas meaning you don't have to drive in; it was walkable for me to go to town and beach in 15-20 mins, and it was an easy drive to a carpark near the old town for my partner. Staff very friendly and room spacious. Hotel is located near lots of lovely towns, villages and coastline and there are plenty of walks you can do in both directions from the hotel.
The breakfast was nice with 'squeeze your own orange juice machine', nice cakes and pastries from the area and they will make you eggs to order but the coffee was really poor quality for the overall price paid for the breakfast (we asked if we could have coffees brought from bar instead of from the machine but we would have had to get them afterwards paid from the bar). Also bar has lovely terrace, whereas breakfast room is in the basement; we were sad breakfast wasn't served there. I would advise to go out for breakfast instead, therefore - plenty of good places in town (one we liked: Panadería Zubiaga).
Excellent value for money. Great location, a short walk from the town centre.
Room was a little small, but still comfortable.
Terrific hotel, we had a room with a terrace which would be great if it weren't raining! It's a 10 minute walk to town for cafes ect. Very roomy. We had breakfast there which wasn't that good really so would get something in town. Gaudi Chalice is a very short walk and an absolute gem, a must see. There's a palace next to the Gaudi house but they have timed tours which isn't on the website so missed out - feel they should rectify this. The staff are delightful and very helpful.
