Alex Beach Cabins and Tourist Park

This was a lovely place to stay. It was well equipped, a great location, quiet with a wonderful staff.

That we had to leave.

Awesome location great price comfortable cabin

My cabin was very spacious and clean and comfortable for me, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was possible early, which I appreciated very much. Check-in was fast. The cabin park was very quiet at night. There is a nice green space nearby, with a water feature and a walking path. I liked the coffee van being on site, that was awesome. I was only there one night but the facilities seemed really good.

Personally, I’d prefer to be a little closer to the beach than a 500m walk and having to cross a major busy road. While there was a restaurant, a fish and chip place and one very expensive food store nearby, they were the only things in walking distance. The beach is wonderful and away from the main crowds but because of that, there are no facilities. I don’t mind this but someone with kids might not find it convenient.While I understand the need for adequate lighting in the park at night, my cabin never really got dark and this made it hard to sleep. I’m sure this could be solved by a different type of curtain in the cabin. It felt like I didn’t have enough privacy. The curtain was very thin. The hot water for some reason, kept coming and going when in the shower. But it was hot, when it came through.

Clean well appointed cabins. Staff responded promptly when we couldn't work out the TV.Close to beach and restaurants.. Grounds well kept. Daily coffee card and woodfired pizza van 2 nights per week. Friendly staff.

Another group staying in close proximity were awake and packing their car at 4:30 am, having a loud conversation and laughing etc. Not the fault of the management.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Well located near swim beach at Alex Headlands. Near new cabins and facilities. Highly recommend

Cabin was very old. Furniture VERY outdated and could not sit outside as it was so dusty on all outside furniture.No face washer in bathroom.Desparaely needs a make over.

The cabin was very clean and well appointed! It was as expected! The location was perfect:) Playground and pool were close by and very clean! Perfect for families and children

The lounge suite had a bit of a 'collapse' in the one corner and the air conditioner in the main bedroom leaked onto the pillow on our last night! The cabin was what we expected! The pool unfortunately was used by teenagers with no parental supervision, and they became quite rowdy, play fighting and bomb diving into the pool, although there were signs advising not too! I'm a mum of 3 boys so not unused to rowdy behaviour but other people deserve to be able to use the facilities without worrying about the safety of their kids/grandkids in my case! Maybe a staff member could do a walk around when the pool is busy to stop this happening! It wasn't all the time though just mainly late afternoon!

Open access to public - 2 boom gates and basicallly able to just walk through. Son’s bike (was chained) was stolen oven night. No security cameras.

We’ve stayed here a few times now. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the cabins are well equipped and comfortable, and the location is fantastic

Great location. Only a short walk to the beach and short drive to shops and restaurants. The pool was clean, tidy and heated. Coffee van in the mornings and wood fire pizza on Saturdays was a great addition to our stay.

The layout of the cabin we stayed in was a bit odd. There was no couch or outdoor table, the bathroom was so tiny, and I didn’t find the beds comfy.

Well located, very comfortable coffee van was permanently on-site from early in the morning. Very clean and quite, good facilities.

Location, cost, cabin was clean and roomy, pool was so warm. We had a camp chair so enjoyed sitting out the back of our cabin watching the birds on the pond. Maybe some permanent seats out there would be good

A week wasn’t enough More toilet paper if staying a week and change bath towels at least once for a week or longer stays

The staff were very friendly. Cabin was very clean. Location was excellent.

Easy location to every destination we wanted to see. The pool was a hit with the nieces. The facilities in the kitchen were easy to use, for the most part. The place felt very welcoming with a great sense of community.

The gas lighting in the stove was not working - always a sense of danger when you have to hold a tiny match to the back of an oven. One of the first linen packs we got had a very moldy sheet inside. The playground was a bit 'boring' to quote my 5 year old niece - might be worth an upgrade, and some seating for the adults supervising!

Extra blankets.Beautiful shower head & great water temperature.

Unable to sleep with the air-conditioning on. Way too loud!
