Northwind Beachfront Apartments

On arrival to the hotel just 2 hours early and we were greeted by name. Our room was well presented with the help of the air conditioner at night gave good rest. Loved the windows having double glacing for silence.

Nothing really as we are currently very aware of construction next store to us at home. Their start was 1 1/2 hours later than we are currently having!

Location, sauna, staff

Sea view, location of room from elevator, nice furniture.

No wash basin plug in main on suite, too close to traffic lights with noisy vehicles accelerating.

Great size, great kitchen space, air-con in all rooms, great "play" facilities.

Elevator is a bit slow (only one elevator for 30 units across 10 floors)

We've stayed here twice, at this time of year to watch my husband compete in the Mooloolaba Tri. It's the perfect location for that, you can be in the room and watch from your balcony or walk downstairs and see it from the street. Aside from this event, this apartment has a beautiful view of the ocean, it's a short walk to restaurants and shops. These apartments have all the things you need to enjoy a beach holiday and is reasonably priced. Thanks so much for having us!

The unit definitely needs a freshen up as the standards of cleanliness were not quite met.However, the location and the comfort were met well. Thank you for a lovely memorable time.

We had stayed here before and enjoyed the facilities. The location so close to the Mooloolaba shops and beachfront is terrific. We had a lower room but views still good. Enjoyed walking down to the surf beach each morning. Rooms very comfortable

Everything worked well

The economy room was fantastic with awesome beachfront views. Large two bedroom apartment was perfect for a week long stay! The location is great, right next to the esplanade and all the shops and restaurants!

The size of the apartment, the location, the beds were extremely comfortable, the views were exceptional

A few of the lights not working (ensuite light flickered, 3rd bedroom light not working) the table size on the balcony was far too small for 6 people

Odour the the hallway I think someone might have put seafood in the rubbish shoot. Noise in the guest room rattling pipe which kept my guest awake

It was modern, staff lovely, nice pool and spa, not too busy, an extra parking space was available for my friend. Easy access to shops and beach.

A little noisy, the air-conditioning units had not been cleaned for a long time. The pillows were hard.

Our Penthouse apt was amazing-very spacious, clean, comfortable, and well- equipped. The views were fantastic and the outdoor space on the roof was lovely! The location at the top end of The Mooloolaba Esplanade was very convenient for walking to restaurants and stores. The private parking was great and the highways and other points along the Sunshine Coast were an easy drive from the property.

The first apt we were offered was very run down and needed an update- definitely inquire about your assigned accommodation before arrival. Stormie and her husband who manage the property were very helpful in switching our accommodations.

The location, views, and proximity to the beach and shops were definitely the highlights of this property.

We were allocated Apt 18, family 2 bedroom on 6th floor. It is very tired with maintenance required. We aligned the door so that we have privacy in the main bedroom. The curtains are dirty, short and offer zero blockout in the bedrooms. There are no fly screens on any doors making it impossible to get fresh air in without insects. Hence the very dewy smell. There is black mould in both bathrooms with attempts to paint over it, and the couches (for the one night we stayed in) were uncomfortable, dirty and smelly. At check in the couches were wet, clearly from the previous stay.We opted to sit on the dining chairs instead, although just as uncomfortable. No family movie nights in here, the TV looks damaged with lines through it when on making the tennis final hard to watch, esp seated on dining chairs.We all retreated to the master bedroom for TV instead, which sort of defeats the purpose of a spacious apartment if you can't use the space. If the weather is great, lucky it was we were hardly in the room. The one night we stayed in, we experienced the discomforts and all things under par. I'd stay here again but not in this particular apartment. The owners need to invest in some maintenance.The property pool is small and not at all enticing. Luckily a great beach is across the road. If you're after pool hangs, this is not the place for you.

Location is fabulous. Ocean view is great. Staff super friendly. Pool, spa and tennis court plus beach toys (buckets, spades and boogie boards to borrow) is great for kids and families.

Our room had a permanent smell - as though the soft furnishings needed a good deep clean. Also the carpet tacks were wearing through near the tiles, we thought we’d stepped on glass a few times til we realised. Could also upgrade the beds to king size, very small for an apartment that size.

The location and view were excellent. Central to the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

The bathrooms were dated, the decor was old , tired, stained and looked unclean. The beds and sofas were soft to the point of uncomfortable. There was an ant infestation. There was only one lift, leading to lengthy delays. The crockery and cooking equipment was mismatched and chipped. We needed a replacement fry pan and clothes dryer immediate as both were unusable. They were replaced with no issue but should be regularly checked.

location!!!! Good kid facilities, tennis , pool , pool table , spa , games !!!!

Location and size of room was great.

Our room was poorly maintained . Internal doors had broken locks. 2/3 of wardrobes in main room were locked. Hallway cupboard full of junk.No lights for tennis courts. Fan switch broken. Laundry power point broken.
