Room was good, breakfast is wonderful

Acording to prices around Douro river, it was ok choice even 20min away from the river

For 4* it would need more experienced and trained staff and could be cleaner (entrance red carpet is awful) and bathroom could be without mold. Breakfast cutlery is not 4*hotel level absolutely

No vegetables on breakfast, bread was not fresh, maybe because of law occupancy. Small room, no desk.

This hotel is an absolute gem! The location is stellar — just minutes from all the must-see historical sites in Lamego, making it the perfect base to explore this beautiful region.What truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming, but a special shoutout to Sandra at the outdoor pool bar — she’s amazing! Friendly, attentive, and always made us feel right at home.The hotel itself is lovely, with comfortable rooms, a great breakfast, and a relaxing atmosphere.If you’re staying in Lamego, this hotel is a must. Can’t recommend it enough!

A pleasant modern hotel situated within walking distance of the main promenade and cathedral and at the entry to the historic old Town. Helpful reception, comfortable room, good breakfast and dinner, with the heated indoor pool a big plus.

My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and booked this place last minute. The hotel was not only able to accommodate us, but also made our stay extra special with their graciousness. The staff was so friendly and helpful and kind. The breakfast is delicious and feels a little extra special. There is a restaurant there and while we didn’t get to eat dinner as we’d already booked elsewhere, we tried their chocolate and salted caramel cake. It was insanely good. I mean, one of the best I’ve had, and I’m the type of person to try something for fun and set it aside if it’s mediocre. But this cake, we’ve been thinking about it ever since. If a single item from their dessert menu is that good, you MUST try dinner. The restaurant is open to the public, I believe, even though it is not listed on google restaurants. Thank you all for such a special stay!

Excellent breakfast, with a wide variety of food to pick from. Eggs and bacon, pastries, cakes, juice, jams...

Breakfast was good and the location was excellent. The staff were lovely and gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner.

This is a spa hotel, and charged as such, but the spa area was underwhelming - the only facilities were a tepid waterfall pool and a sauna which didn't close properly so it didn't heat up sufficiently. We made the best of it, but it was disappointing.

Lovely hotel, room very well appointed, close to the town, breakfast was delicious, very friendly staff. Lovely spa facilities.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The staff and breakfast were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. 5 stars for them! The location is also very fantastic with several good restaurants around. Friendly Warning: there is no parking available.

The first night was very cold inside the room, and we had trouble sleeping. The Thermostate control was on, but seemed to have no effect. When I went to complain about the temperature in the front desk, the person in charge apologized and said that the heating was not turned on for the room, and she solved it right away. After that, the apartment became super hot. We had another hard night. The Thermostate in the wall didn't seem to operate or to have any effect on the temperature at all.Also you need to be lucky in order to use the SPA and heated pool, because it seems it's very small and I couldn't use it because it was already with too many people inside, and the front desk clerk didn't allow me to use it. That means the facility isn't properly dimensioned for the size of the hotel, which I was very surprised and somewhat disappointed, because that was one of the reasons I booked the hotel, and I had to leave it without using it. And the hotel was not crowded at all, if we take into consideration how many people were having breakfast.

There was no in house parking - that wasn’t the problem, it was lack of notification that there wasn’t any and what alternatives were available! Once we knew ok but made arrival very stressful

Lovely hotel that's nicely situated at the bottom of the town's castle. Friendly and efficient staff. Balcony gives a nice view of the town and the church at the top of the hill (and the approx. 600 steps it takes to get up there). Restaurant serves solid fare at reasonable prices. We would have been happy to stay a bit longer.

The TV screen in the bar detracts from what otherwise would be a nice and quiet place to have a drink.

The hotel is very nice, rooms are clean.Is very well located so you can explore the area easily.Has a small interior poll that is good for relaxing after a long day.Breakfast is good and has good options.

Dinner at the restaurant was awful. Frozen reheated food. Kids food was a joke, frozen meat from the supermarket. We didn't let the kids eat it. There is no actual Spa, 2 very small pools, sauna didn't work, no massage available.
