Hotel Vila Esteves

This hotel was a good location, and the staff were great to deal with.

The toilet was a turn knob and did not work well, it was constantly making noise.

Great staff. They were OK to put our food in their garage fridge for the night. Bedroom was clean.

Breakfast only starts at 08:30am, that's way too late. We should be able to get breakfast at 07:00 am

The location is amazing, the facilities are very comfortable and complete. Moreover, the customer service is very attentive.

The staff was nice and the room was clean. Air conditioned worked well. The property location is good. There is no parking but as I went on the weekend, I had no problem finding parking spots nearby.

The bathroom was tiny and the water heater was leaking a bit, which was uncomfortable as it was right above the toilet. Room walls were thin.

It is an excellent location. It is in the center of town, close to coffee shops and restaurants.

There is no soundproofing whatsoever. From street noise to the noises from other rooms, you could hear everything.

The location. It's located in the center of the village.

The bathroom was cold, and the floor got wet after having a shower since it was a bath without curtains.

Location and staff

Old bathroom

All the staff were wonderfully accommodating, not because they had to be, but due to their gracious and kind characters. We stayed 5 nights, extending from a planned 3, because the hotel and Moncao were so charming.

Location was perfect, easy to find. Nice room and helpful staff.

The only problem was the shower fixture in the bathroom. It needed to be replaced, as it would not hold its adjustment.

Central location, Secure cycle storage, Efficient and friendly staff, Good value, Room was fine.

Very close to historical center, restaurants, banks, etc. Excellent price, clean, and comfortable. Parking on street but next to hotel. The young woman receptionist was very helpful and friendly. (Don't expect great comprehension of English anywhere in Monção that I encountered. Fortunately I am reasonably conversant in Portuguese and people were kind.)

Rater strange mustard color of the bathroom facilities. But, all functioned well.

Excellent location. Good reception and friendly staff. Helpful with secure bicycle parking.

I liked that it had a bath tab and separated rooms.

The hotel was too expensive in relation to the facilities and services. There was no elevator, the bathroom and the furniture were kind of old, it had carpet which is not very clean and some stained cushions. The beds were old and not very comfortable. The place was very hot (we had to open the windows) and noisy (with some kind of pubs or noisy bars near). The curtains were dirty.

Shower was broken and took 2 days to fix

Galego-friendly

The staff could manage to make sure I could make my check in late night once my bus would arrive in the city at that time. It was lovely
