About
This impressive tower from medieval Galicia, now converted into a hotel, dominates the landscape of this town, center of the "Terra Chá" area, which originated from this fortress, home of the Andrades, the counts of Vilalba. The hotel offers cozy, welcoming spaces with a medieval air; in the tower, 6 bedrooms share this medieval style with the Salón de los Andrade, with frescoes and coats of arms. In the shadow of the tower, the new stone building is in the style of a pazo, the Galician country house, houses the remaining 42 bedrooms, the restaurant and bar.

Historic location.
First Parador I have stayed in. Disappointed. Air conditioning did not work and room hot.
beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable location perfect for Camino travelers
Our room and view from the superior double room was amazing. Nothing during our stay was disappointing. On the contrary, everything about the parador exceeded our expectations. The parador location was central to all the places we visited. The staff were was very helpful and friendly.
Loved everything about it.
Very cool hotelVery clean and comfortable room
Would be nice if room had a kettle or coffee maker for tea / coffee
Beautiful facility , while being in a great location. Thank you for allowing extra storage time.
It appears from Booking advertisement , you will be staying in the tower. Not only do you not stay in the tower it is under renovation. Maybe update the info for this property.
Old style elegance. Comfortable beds, crisp sheets, big room, great bathroom and products. Excellent breakfast. Fridge and safe in room. Elevator. Lounge on each floor. Great wifi and a smart tv for casting movies.
The Torre/tower, which is connected to or part of the hotel, is under construction/restoration and the workers started work quite early, but of course this is temporary.
Its one of my favorite breakfasts. And also one of my favorite bathrooms
The menu online doesnt match the one for the restaurant
Very nice hotel and accommodations. Definitely the best value of all our hotels on the Camino. Great Breakfast buffet with a discount for perrigrinos.
Everything was excellent! Staff help, luxury room and good location… all at an incredible rate!
Nothing :)
The reception staff was extraordinary. I had made a mistake regarding dates in my non refundable booking, and they worked with Booking.com to resolve my problem. It was considerable work for them and they did it happily to ensure we had a good experience.
With only one exception (see below), I absolutely love everything. The architecture, the history, the furnishing, the restaurant and meals, friendly staff, thick towels, I just can’t keep on.
Hard uncomfortable mattress.
It was located right in the centre of Vilalba and very well looked after. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and beautifully warm after a long wet walk on the Camino.
Great location in Vilalba.
We didn’t know the tower was under renovation. Also it wasn’t easy to get to on Google Maps.
We have stayed 3 times now, every time very nice, a good clean warm hotel
In historic ancient castle - the tower was amazing to look at( even while on Camino)! Breakfast a la carte was good and excellent coffee!
Excellent property, great value. Large room with double balcony doors, light and airy. View of church. Two sitting chairs and round table. Comfortable beds, very quiet area. A/C was available but not used. Good sized bathroom with double sinks and bath to soak in for Camino travellers. Delicious dinner and again great value. Central location. Would recommend and stay there again.
Creaky wood floors but we didn’t find this a problem.
Superb room, bed and bath tub!
Restaurant food for dinner and left a lot to be desired and was $$. Breakfast was very good.
