It was perfectly located, super clean and comfortable, and the hosts are very kind.

We loved everything about it. It felt like a home in the mountains, all the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The service was spectacular, we couldn’t make it in time for the check in the day of our arrival so the host was kind enough to wait for us. When we got to our room we were pleased to see that there had been complementary treats and coffee left for us along with 2 water bottles. The next morning even breakfast was included and the host informed us on some places we could visit around the city.

We had the room on the top floor so we it carry the bags up 3 flights of stairs.

In the morning, before breakfast, I walked over the road to explore an interesting pathway. A couple of hundred metres along the track and up some stairs was THE most amazing church set into a cave about 50 mteres up in the air inside a cliff. It is alsoa short drive from here to Los Lagos de Covadonga, I went up there early in the morning. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Breakfast was also breathtaking. They were not sure what I wanted for breakfast so they gave me EVERYTHING! Honestly, there was ebough food for 10 or 20 people. Meat, cheese, cakes, bread, yogurt, jelly, fruit, more cake, butter, jam, cereal and really nice coffee in great big cups. I ate a huge breakfast and didn't even make an impression on all the food that was there. Thank you so much.

Dinner is not availble but there are several really good restaurants close by

This is the a quaint hotel nestled against a mountain in an excellent location just below the cathedral. The rooms and facilities are excellent. Breakfast was provided and was also excellent. The owner was very helpful and friendly and made our stay memorable. We had our own vehicle and parking was opposite. We would stay here again in a heartbreat.

The bathroom had no plug in the sink or bath and the wash basin was cracked. The road is very busy and a bit dangerous to cross at times

Bea and her family made us feel very welcome. Their home is beautiful, and we loved our room and wonderful view into the mountains. The location is amazing, with a nice footpath into Covadonga and up to the basilica. We plan to return!

The B&B was in a great place for visiting the Lagos de Covadonga. Breakfast was good. Value for money was great. Bed was comfy and shower worked well.

They could do with a better toaster for toasting bread more quickly.

Really friendly and helpful hosts. She coped with our arriving early while dealing with other guests and cleaning the rooms. Went out of their way to make our stay a good one. Personal touches like these make a little hotel like this one a great place to stay.

Great host, my partner spoke to her in Spanish and she was incredibly helpful and gave great advice. The cakes are delicious and it's really close to the basilica.If you want to go on a walk to the lakes, get a return taxi for £12. You can't drive there.

A 10 minute walk on trails uphill by streams to the superbly positioned basilica. A 3 minute walk downhill to a waterfall! Excellent breakfast.

Loved the location. 200m from the start of the Covadonga lakes' mountain road. Very central to many must-see stunning places. Lots of good restaurants and bars within easy driving distance. Cangas de Onis, the main town in the area, is 7kms away. The room was very comfortable and warm, with a good, hot shower. It was perfect for our 9-day stay. The owner is lovely. She is very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and happy to advise/recommend. We instantly felt very welcome and the excellent continental breakfast set us up for the day. We would not hesitate to return.
