Very nice staff

Very basic rooms. Breakfast was a bit basic but ok

The facilities were good and the staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was also very good.

The size of the room is a little small and the bed is not very comfortable

The acoustic isolation is not so good but you can live with that.

The hotel is closed for renovation so they switched my reservation to a nearby "spa" hotel. Very old looking room with dead and alive flies all over. Shouldn't appear on Booking.com if they're closed for a while.

Perfect sleepover spot travelling to the Lagos de Covadonga. Great stuff and very clean room.

Very thin walls, so you can hear your neighbours speaking. Directions on Google maps aren’t accurate, need to follow Booking directions.

Really friendly staff, very dog friendly. We had a nice breakfast on the terrace with our dog, and they provide food/water bowls and a dog blanket which was a lovely gesture.

Nothing! We loved our short stay there.

When we arrived we were told that as they had a large party staying there, they had booked us in in a hotel just nearby. We eventuall found that "nearby hotel" 11 Kms away. That was a very nice hotel and the facilities, food and staff were very good.However it was too far from Cangas to be able to "nip into" town for the evening.

That the hotel could not have emailed us to say that we had been transferred.I had driven over 700 miles that day and the last thing I wanted was to go looking for another hotel. They should accept a booking and not rebook the room because of a large party booking the hotel and the wanted your room.

Due to network problems, my room was given to someone else. But a hotel with a better environment was arranged for me. The hotel building is very beautiful and parking is convenient. In the morning, accompanied by the sound of cow bells, looking at the beautiful scenery, I felt happy.

The staff was great, very friendly and helpful to make a solotraveler feel welcome and flexibele to sdapt to his changing planning!

First night at the "attic" was less nice, but got a proper room afterwards!

María Manuela Hotel & Spa is were we stayed, having been relocated by the Hotel Bricial. The hotel & spa was a nice surprise, great reception by the staff at the front desk, excellent rooms on the ground floor and a buffet evening meal for 25 Euros, which included whine or beer or both, with a great selection of hot and cold food and no restriction on how much you eat. Breakfast was buffet style, with less choice but was included in the price.

We cannot comment on Hotel Bricial because we did not stay there, please read the text above.

we were upgraded to their sister Hotel which happened to be a rural retreat and fantastic

The hotel is a roadside place for travellers, families visiting Picos de Europa, and is all that you expect of that ! The staff was great, the breakfast was ok. For the money, is an incredible option for visitiors of the national park, as it is on the road towards Covadonga, close to the roundabout, a couple minutes away from Cangas de Onis, overall, fantastic location

Room was quite small, but more than enough for the confort we needed when doing hundreds of kilometers a day, breakfast as not amazing, but it worked !

The hotel emailed at lunchtime to say it was closed which we only saw on arrival! We booked a really good alternative in nearby town...

Advanced notice. The alternative hotel suggested was the opposite direction to our cycling trip.

Disaster

As the hotel was closed and had been for months, Booking.com should never have accepted our reservation. It created major problems for us and we only received an email to tell us to go to another hotel at midday when we had no internet. Total disaster.

The hotel was closed so we were moved to a better hotel a few miles away. As this hotel was 4 star we were happy with this.

The hotel being closed was a tad inconvenient....

Because was full we got a free upgrade to a 4-star hotel very closeby.

please do not book this place

the hotel is overrated with small rooms lacking windows and strong smell in the rooms. definitely not recommended
