The location, room, staff, parking facilities, cleanliness, decorated walls.

The location is just a few minutes from the beach and cliffs. I walked from the train station to the hotel, which took about 15 minutes. The hotel is on a hill, but there's a public elevator right next to it, in case you are carrying luggage. The room and bathroom were very clean. I particularly found the pillows to be very comfortable. The complimentary coffee machine available 24/7 was neat.

The hair dryer was one of those small ones, so it was not very powerful and overheated after a minute or so, after which it would power off. The safe had a defective button (number 9). If you use this number, not in the first position, the display shows another number, which changes every time. Luckily, I tested it before putting my valuables inside and ended up not using it.

The property was clean, sunny and stylish. We loved our suite, which has a terrasse with lovely 180-degree views over the rooftops and hills. The hotel is easily walkable to shops, the beach, and cliff trails. We loved it so much we extended our stay!

The pictures are accurate .. the room is small and compact, but one of the few places in Zumaia that has a kitchenette in the room .. it is very small and compact but it gets the job done .. we made meals 2 nights in the room .. wonderful large balcony which I sat on in the AM and PM ... very large modern bathroom ... the bed was comfortable and the AC worked fairly well .. staff is very helpful and very friendly.. room was cleaned every day ... we did not try the cafeteria, but it was large and very nice looking ...it is also very close to the hiking trails ... the best part of this place is the 15 euro charge per day for a parking car .. immensely helpful in this city built on a hill .. over all you cannot go wrong staying here .. would recommend

Perfect location, between the old town and the start of the trail to Deba. Modern, extremely clean, great shower, free coffee all day. Very good breakfast. Excellent Wi-Fi.

Nice small hotel, very clean and friendly staff. Underground car park meant our motorbikes were out of sight. 5 minutes walk from the beach and from restaurants on the front.

Clean. Modern. Comfortable. Balcony with glimpse of sea. Short walk to beach and flysch. Short walk to restaurants and river.

Hilly location, but offset by proximity to beach.

The hotel surprised me as it is listed at a 2-star hotel but in fact felt rather high end. There is an art theme across the rooms and common areas, which is very stylish.The personnel were really kind - at the reception and the breakfast. The breakfast is not super abundant but is sufficient and adequate. Anything more would have been a high risk of food waste.The location is excellent to go for a walk to the flysch and the geopark. Also close to the local pintxo bars/tavernas.Our room had a terrace with a view towards the sea, the lavish green hills and the flysch. I loved sitting there.A kettle with some tea in the room could have been a nice addition. But there was a fridge supplied with some water and beer, which was lovely for the sunny hours.

I am not sure if the ventilation in the bathroom was functioning

Really nice room and they happily moved me from my original room where a previous guest had been smoking. Also supplied a kettle for a keen tea drinker.

Very clean and new. Room was very spacious. Breakfast was good, with a lot of variety.

Everything was perfect - the location, the spaciousness of the suites, amenities, check-in, balcony, views, and it was quiet!

The post code to the hotel is confusing, the hotel got in touch with me and gave me another post code but even then it was hard to find.apart of that everything else was great ?

Beautiful area, with views from room balcony. Very spacious room..like 3x what we experience in France. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and awesome beaches. Excellent parking garage and breakfast buffet; seemed to be many German business men present at breakfast. Staff sent special instructions on how to drive to the hotel. Huge comfy bed!

Google maps navigation to hotel is wrong.. follow staff instructions. Street parking doesn't seem possible here.

Friendly staff, very comfortable room, nice terrace, very nice breakfast, delicious coffee, good WiFi connectivity, situated in the city centre.

The only thing I could possibly complain about is that it’s not easy to find with sat nav as they recently blocked one of the streets leading to the hotel. I guess this will be sorted out by itself soon.
