Excellent location, friendly staff, affordable price, fine (French) breakfast
No comment, enjoyable stay
Great location, fast & friendly & helpful check-in, very reasonable price for location, very clean throughout, comfortable bed, air conditioned rooms, elevator to all 4 floors, reasonable price for breakfast (8.30 euro), small room made good use of available space, lots of restaurants nearby
Reception on first floor not ground floor, noise from revelers in square at night on weekends and in morning for rooms facing the square may be bothersome for some, room was quite small and could be too small for 2 people needing their space (space between end of bed and desk was maybe 6 inches), water pressure not good, one paper square of shampoo and small bar of soap given,
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the square. Central location.
Good breakfast. Short walk from the railway station. Bus to the rugby match stopped near by.
Located in city centre so very handy.
There was no car charging point as advertised. Instead the was one in the municipal car park; and that was not available. The was no designated parking area, just the one mentioned above. This was very difficult to get to due to the netwrk of one-way roads and poor signage.
Location was excellent, right on the square, no noise at night, very convenient to shops and restaurants.
The sink drain was clogged, it took a long time to drain water, bath tub was fineNo parking at the hotel, there is public parking available at the square, but very expensive
Great central location, and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Room was clean and generally in line with what was expected. Good value for money, just don’t expect the Ritz.
Some noise from outside but that was to be expected from location and was not really that much of an issue - it could have been far worse (redeveloping the next door opticians early in the morning didn’t help though). Breakfast options a little sparse even for a cheap continental breakfast, but good enough to start the day with.
Location was excellent but not the easiest to find! A good size room.
Room was noisy due to people shouting outside all night. the hotel really needs a complete refurb, very run down but clean enough.
The hotel has a great location and cost-benefit.
The breakfast is too basic. The building and rooms are old.
The manager was extremely kind, despite our slight language barrier. The check-in was smooth. The location is prime with a view over the main square. With the windows closed it was nice and quiet. The airconditioning was great. The hotel style is a bit outdated but does have a real charm. Some minor things could be fixed (loose tile in bathroom, broken frame in hallway etc.) but overall well kept.
The receptionist was superb. He did not speak very good English, and we were limited in French but this did not stop him making us feel very welcome and attempting to engage an interest in us and our plans. Great location too.
The breakfast is overpriced. The air con was not very effective.
Great proximity to attractions, good housekeeping service and friendly staff
Air conditioning went off at night when we needed it. Springs were popping up in the bed.
The location was great. There was a very good restaurant that was diagonally locarted from the Hotel just across the square. The town had some nice pedestrian streets and shopping areas.
I thought the Mountains were going to be closer than what they actually were.
Very good location for sights. Value for money.
Parking only available at an underground parking facility.
Central location in the heart of Pau.
Location related street noise certain nights due to lack of soundproofing.
Clean and tidy room.Location OK.Nice breakfast.
I guess they couldn't help the festival in the town square that night.
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good price. Pleasant breakfast
It’s a bit old and run down. A throwback to an older era of European budget travel. Everything works but is in various levels of disrepair. Not for the nitpicker.
