Ostal Pau Universite, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

The room was street level and you can park your car just outside.

Since our arrival at the hotel, the staff was superb and very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast, the rooms were very comfortable and many places to go eat within walking distance.

Nothing to say here.

Location

The room was smelly and the carpet as well, at 6am the smell of the kitchen right in the room could not sleep well I arrived at 1.30am had very long drive … the walls of the room very thin you can hear everything and anything…I have requested the cancellation and none one replied back to me …

Location and comfortable bed

The room smelled mouldy

It was very clean and comfortable.

The limit giving to shower and the TV had nothing good to watch. So ended up buying a tablet to watch Netflix.

The cleanliness and friendly behaviour of the stuff

The room amenities (e.g no hand towels) can be improved

Everything was fine, we had two rooms for us five, which was enough. The rooms are warm (AC working), everything clean, showers are fine. The breakfast is okay but could be more varied. The staff is very polite and helpful. Good location near big shopping center, parking at the hotel is available.

For me the standout feature of this hotel was its location. It was easy to access by car, but also had excellent public transport connections to the city via the F bus line. It was close to restaurants, fuel station and a hypermarket.

Not a lot at this price. Maybe a bit more room space.

Great hotel. It had everything we needed and a great price. Very clean, very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff.

Daniela very kindly sorted out the room situation for us when the family room was unavailable at the last minute and provided us with something much better than what we originally booked. She was very polite, spoke brilliant English (sorry - we're still trying to learn French!) and was a fabulous receptionist all round. We then got to our rooms and they were immaculate. Bathrooms were clean and stocked well, beds made beautifully, tea and coffee with a kettle available, good noise insulation... Everything met my expectations. The French really know how to look after people and I would love to stay here again to see more of Pau and other parts of France. Thank you for a lovely stay!

It was clean, comfortable with a good breakfast

Free parking on site, convenient location to visit Pau centre. A Turkish restaurant is nearby offering reasonable prices for food.

The bathroom was small, no elevator in the hotel, breakfast was short of variety.

Great friendly staff, super comfortable beds, silent area and good parking facilities. It was perfect for us as a stop-over on our car journey through France.

Convenient location for overnight stay , kettle in room was appreciated but very eclectic variety of drink sachets and only one milk

no complaints for the price paid

Convenient and nice restaurant next door.

Looking forward to soak in bath after 14 hour drive , unfortunately the plug did not fit!! Shower inadequate and splashed all over the floor. No garden to walk dogs even though on website said garden

Very friendly reception staff, clean room, quiet.

Cozy warm room after long journey. Very helpful reception.great car parking outside room

Problem with keeping water in the shower cubicle when showering as sceen is very small.

The room was great! Very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent!

It was in a good location for the motorway. It had tea and coffee making facilities.Had a restaurant right next door which was good.

No magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

We only stayed for one night but the overall feeling was positive. Good room, good bathroom, nice decoration and comfy beds. Air conditioning worked fine and we could arrive late with a code and a locked with the key. We could also leave early and reception opened also very early so I could settle my bill. Close to the highway to get in and out and there were also supermarkets close by.

Well, I actually can't think of anything in our context (sleeping one night during a road trip)... except for the fact that I booked a quadruple room and got two rooms (2 + 3 beds) which made our sleeping arrangements change due to a younger child.
