    • Convenient location. Good food.

    Cons -

    • 18/10/24 I reserved a table in the restaurant via booking.com. Didn’t receive a response. On arrival receptionist confirm my table was booked. However restaurant manager had no record of table booking and said I should book the table direct with the restaurant which I a ludicrous statement to make. I only booked the hotel because of the restaurant. Reception needs to liaise with the restaurant not leave customers in limbo because they didn’t acknowledge my request. Very disappointed with the customer service.
    • Slow service in the restaurant
    • One thing I didn't like well it's more of an observation really, But a lot of Europe is getting very expensive for what you get, but guess that is a sign of the times in which we find ourselves, local taxes keep climbing so by the time you check out you can add another 20 euros to your bill.

Very convenient from the motorway exit which is modern and clean with good parking, the rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, and the staff were helpful and informative.

Breakfast was ok if lacking in a few areas and the coffee from the machine was not nice, not what we expect from a French hotel

This was a tip top stop off location on our trip from the UK to Spain. Lovely pool, relaxed, peaceful setting. The best of superking beds, crisp linens, quality pillows. And situated within the most delightful of urban out of town locations - clean, superbly landscaped, speed controlled avenues. Pau council bravo!Sundowners and breakfast were memorable.Great staff, friendly and all personable.

Rooms are small, really small, but if you plan for this you can accommodate!

The hotel had lots of free parking on site. The breakfast was great with an excellent selection. Lots of the staff spoke very good English. The room was clean and tidy and there was a nice bathroom.

The room door was a soft close and it was slow to close so if you left it, it wouldn't close completely by itself. There was alot of noise until late outside on the first evening thst I stayed which could be easily heard from the room.

Easy to check in. Food in the hotel restaurant was nice. Could park at the hotel.

Definitely not 4star standard. Room very small. Staff okay but not of 4 star standard. No safe in room. Outside is old and not been updated since the 70s.

The food in the restaurant was exceptional for a hotel. Had dinner there the night we arrived after a long drive there and was really impressed by the quality and innovation of the menu. I would go there again most happily.

Our second stay and it won't be our last, I'm sure! This is a lovely small hotel, in an excellent location just off the motorway at Pau.

Nothing, ticked all the boxes for our stay ?

    9PamelaPosted on: 11-5-2023

Pleasant stay with family. Dinner was delicious with beautiful French wine

    9SarahPosted on: 10-30-2023

Staff were great. Clean room, small but it had everything we needed. Good location for travelling through to Spain. Green space around the hotel was good because we were travelling with our dog

    8PaulaPosted on: 8-14-2023

Free parking with electric charge. Staff was nice. Pool was nice (shame for the lack of seats). Breakfast was good (except the coffee).

Not enough beach seats at the pool, although there was the space for it. Breakfast coffee was not good at all.

    8TravellingPosted on: 5-10-2023

Easy access. Car parking available on site. 24hr desk. Evening meal available. Limited menu but we thoroughly enjoyed our selections. Varied self service breakfast selection to suit most tastes. Room small but made good use of the available space. Large bathroom. All staff very welcoming and helpful.

    9RiaPosted on: 5-4-2023

Location was perfect, the atmosphere was great and breakfast apart from the coffee was good as well.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic decor. Check-in was a breeze. Lovely staff.

    8GaryPosted on: 10-22-2022

Clean and comfortable. With a good EV charging station. Location is near the highway, but quiet enough. Easy check in and check out. Breakfast was good. Restaurant is small and with a limited menu.

    8RossPosted on: 10-10-2022

Great breakfast - one of the best we have had. Room is clean and modern. Shower good.

Room is pretty small. Not great value for money. Good location if you want to get to/from airport but nothing walkable around the hotel.

    8ChoonPosted on: 10-2-2022

    Cleanliness and friendliness

Pillow to low, did not sleep well. Room size is small.

    6CormacPosted on: 9-26-2022

Easily accessible by car & parking is convenient and safe

Hidden charges... despite having paid for room in advance we were all landed with a €50/person 'security' charge (very unusual!) and then having it debited by city tax and breakfast (that was already included in my room rate!). I can't help feeling a bit ripped off for a simple overnight stay on a classic car touring holiday
