- I really enjoyed my stay, George and his wife were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, had a small balcony with a view of the coast. It's just a 2 minute walk from the village but it's away from the restaurants so it's very quiet. They gave me Greek yogurt with cherries from their garden, delicious. I was walking the coast, George is a great source of information for the E4 route. The food at their restaurant was good. For the best price in the village i had a very comfortable stay and would reccomend! I'm happy to have friends in Agia. Thank you George!
Cons -
- Would have liked to make a tea or coffee first thing but hotel restaurant is just downstairs so not a problem
- a bit noisy in the hallways
- Bathroom was not the cleanest; the drain clogged and the glue around the soap holders had mold. WiFi was a little spotty

Very convenient location, in the middle of the town’s busy street, but still quiet
Bathroom was not the cleanest; the drain clogged and the glue around the soap holders had mold. WiFi was a little spotty
Great front view over harbour.
Smallish basic room..but standard for Greek resort.
The brothers were friendly and happy to help, the beach was very close, good breakfast
The bathroom fixtures need renewing
Location, in village centre
The bathroom: the shower had a clogged drain and the toilet kept flushing, non stop
Room size fine, beds comfortable
First room – The constant dripping in the toilet, did ask the owners to take a look but nothing was done. When having a shower having to hand hold the shower constantly as there was no hook. Cockroach in the bedroom and on the balcony at which point the owners offered us another room the following morning. Second room – The shower head, instead of the water coming out of the little holes, it came from behind the disk where the holes are, so the water came out sideways. No curtain on the shower so the bathroom was pretty wet after we had had our shower. We couldn't wait to leave.
Great location, comfortable bed, great view from the balcony, good value for money
The bathroom needs an upgrade- at least a washed curtain and replacement of a moldy soap holder
Welcome was friendly. Rooms were very clean. Location excellent.
More central would not be possible! But still quiet room, nice balcony with seaview, nice restaurant.
Perfect location, great view of the habour; quiet; mainly clean; room simple but well equipped. The cleaning lady is friendly. Very good value for money. They have a cafe / restaurant atteched: good. I recommend the super delicious Sfakia Pita (cheese filled pancake with honey).
The owner or manager is somewhat grumpy (I travel a lot - but have never been greeted by a receptionist with "what do you want?"). Later he became a bit more amenable and in the end even sort of friendly.*The joints between the bathroom tiles deserve thorough cleaning: signs of mould. The "free toiletries" consisted of two pieces of soap.* Curiously, the male population of Chora Sfakion seems to consist of 50 brothers. They all look the same, and all like Tintin's difficult friend Capitaine Haddock.
We liked the location and the cost, and were very glad of the air conditioning. We are not used to showers with no curtain or glass panels and had to be careful not to accidentally wet the toilet paper! Pleased to have a little fridge.
The flushing mechanism for the toilet was not effective.
Basic Hotel in good price to stay in Chora Sfakion. The non-included breakfast in downstairs cafe is excellent, especially "omeleta" (scrambled eggs) and "sfakiani pita" (fried pie with cheese and honey on top).
The bathroom could be in better condition
The location is great with the main strip of restaurants right down stairs. The room was good, and it had a great view of the sea. Overall, it meet my expectations for a short 1 night stay.
The shower was rather small. You also cannot drive to the hotel as it is on a footpath. You have to park a 5 minute walk away, but the front desk was able to give me a parking pass for free
Amazing location and great value for money. So wonderful.
Staff at check in not the friendliest and quite loud with other guests.
Great location, in the heart of the village overlooking the small harbour, Room had sea views and was clean & comfortable
The view. Room was clean.
Communication was bad. I wanted to extend my stay by adding a day before and a day after the initial booking and asked whether I should book in advance or pay when we get there because they did not have the same studio for the day before. I wrote to host but the only answer I got was "OK". I booked a studio and we got a room. There was no shampoo. The toiletries consist of soap and toilet paper. The room cannot be locked from the inside. One morning I was sleeping late ad did not answer to the knocking on the door by the cleaning lady and next thing she opened the door. Wi-fi password is weak, so better not rely on it. Very noisy as the hotel is located above the main street with restaurants. I did not ger a receipt for the last night pay. Not that I asked for since the manager said: "Are you going to make me trouble the last night" when I asked why he is charging me with the price for a studio when we got a room.
There’s nothing not to like. The view. The room. The staff. The sound of the waves, audible from my bed. Excellent value for money.
Excellent position, Very clean, comfortable, beds
