Elafonisi Resort by Kalomirakis Family

We had the most wonderful stay. The room was impeccable, it was perfectly clean and well equipped. We also loved the restaurant, the fresh fish and local wine were beautiful. The staff we friendly and helpful.

The rooms were brand new and our stay was perfect in every way. The suite with kitchen was larger than I expected and had a great patio overlooking the olive trees and ocean. Super fast WIFI (at least in the offseason).

The whole building seemed fairly new. The room was large and clean. Proximity to the beach was great. There was a little market right across the street with hot food, snacks, drinks and gifts.

I was given an upgrade from a standard room without even asking as they had just closed their Taverna for the season so I had to go elsewhere to eat. The upgrade was so that I could prepare food in the kitchenette. There was nothing there except a coffee machine. But, that's it, everything else was absolutely fantastic

This is a delightful property within a 10-15 minute walk to Elafonisi beach. It provides parking and has a nice restaurant as part of the hotel where we ate dinner and breakfast the next day. They allowed us to check-in early as the rooms were ready. The room was large and comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure which is always nice! It has a large terrace and a drying rack for wet swimming suits.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about this hotel.

It was a great experience. The property was super clean and well designed. We loved our terrasse with olive trees. We could see the sunrise and in the evening lie on the shezlong and watch stars. Another amazing thing is a restaurant at the property. Great and fresh food, amazing stuff and wonderful atmosphere. A recommendation: get up earlier and go to the beach before a bus with the turists will come ☺️

Harris was was very welcoming and room was clean and very comfortable. Super close location to Elafonisi beach. Free parking included. Would recommend to anyone going there to see the beach to stay at this resort.

The beach is crazy busy but that it not their fault.

We booked this bungalow to stay at Elafonisi beach so we could see the sunset and the sunrise and have time to explore the beautiful beach before all the crowds. Walk away from the main beach to get the true vibe) The Bungalow is very clean and modern and secluded with a small kids park across the road. The Taverna had great food. If we had more time in Crete we would have stayed longer to relax at this location.

The property is run by very nice people! Beautiful spacious and connected to an amazing taverna. The closest you’ll get to Elafonisi. Great shower and comfy bed too. Parking is great!

Stunning location within walking distance to Elafonisi beach! The setting in the olive grove was beautiful, and the room was very clean and spacious. The on-site restaurant was also very good! We will be back for sure!

Well equiped room for visiting the best island in Crete, Elafonisi! We had our own parking and as soon as you walk out of the resort, you start your walk to this amazing beach! There isn't anything around the town so thankgooness they had their own restaurant where we ate fantastic Greek food at very affordable prices. They even do breakfast! There is also a supermarket up the road (mini one across the road but pricey)Would recommend if you are visiting the beach especially as sunbeds are sold out by 10am, you can walk down at 9am to purchase, leave your towels there and head down later during the day.The host was wonderful too! Cannot fault this place at all!

The excellent service and the convenience of parking at the resort so close to Elafonisi along with the convenient and delicious attached restaurant.

Location Location Location!! You are literally steps from the beach! The rooms are directly above a sweet little restaurant that faces the beach! The rooms on the front have an amazing view of the water from a cute balcony! The resort appears new. The rooms are spotlessly clean with a sparkling bathroom with good pressure in the shower and nice hot water. (Bonus: you can flush the toilet paper-- that might only be important to Americans ??‍♀️?) Lots of extra blankets, a coffee/tea station, and good air conditioning. You also have free parking. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. We were a bit late checking in (because it is a long harrowing drive from Chania or Heraklion?) We went straight to the beach and then stopped at the restaurant for dinner, not realizing that that was where we were staying. He immediately saw us and called me on the phone to ask where I was and as I tried to describe the restaurant he walked right up to our table! It was hilarious??. Such a nice man! Very reasonable prices for a new beachfront room! Book it!!! (See my pics for details)

If you have mobility issues, just know there is one short flight of stairs.

We were warmly received at the resort. The room was elegant and comfortable. We enjoyed the great views from our balcony, dinner at the tavern below, and of course, the fabulous beach down the hill.

The apartment was perfect – they even gave us a free upgrade. While it didn’t have a sea view, it overlooked the mountains and olive groves, which was beautiful. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. It’s highly recommended to stay at least one night so you can enjoy the beach early in the morning, before the crowds arrive.

The restaurant closes early—at 10 PM. We arrived at 9:30 and the grill was already off, so we could only have a salad. Since there aren’t many other options in the area, it would be great if they extended the opening hours a bit. There were several other guests at the tables in the same situation as us.
