About

Discover Hôtel de la Darse, a charming 3-star hotel founded in 1925 and ideally located on the harbor of Villefranche-sur-Mer, in the heart of one of the most beautiful bays on the French Riviera. A family-owned property for nearly a century, the hotel has been completely renovated to offer the perfect balance between its historic charm, the comfort of its guestrooms, and the elegance of its facilities. All air-conditioned rooms feature a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, refrigerator, courtesy tray, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Depending on the room category, guests can enjoy views of the garden, the harbor, or the sea, as well as a balcony or terrace. La Stoa Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, which can be enjoyed on the hotel's beautiful Greek-style terrace. The beaches, the Old Town, Nice, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat are all within easy reach, making Hôtel de la Darse the perfect base for exploring the French Riviera.

Pros +

Fantastic harbor view rooms, make sure you upgrade from a garden view. We took a top floor room with a fine terrace. The stairs were challenging, but so worth it. Clean, light, tastefully decorated nice sized rooms.

Cons -

No elevator. A small price to pay for such high quality at such a low price!
