Atmosphere, location, incredible Friendly, helpful staff. I truly enjoyed my stay, I felt very comfortable. Everything that is needed at simply walking steps/ short distance...All around an amazing place and experience ?? I strongly recommend!!

Overall, it was pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean and marina.

I accidentally broke a glass in my room from IKEA, worth €0.50. On the day of my departure, I was asked to pay €5 for the broken glass. I understand I have to cover the damage, but charging ten times the value is excessive. It's not about the €5, it's about the principle. Shame on you.

Location of this property is great. You are right on a beach, and within walking distance to an excellent bar/cafe as well as the marina where a lot of tours work out of. The front desk staff are extremely kind.

We were disappointed that there were no snacks and bottled water available for purchase on the property - we arrived after 9pm and were desperate for water. The listing stated there was a restaurant and bar on the property, but both were either closed, or there is mislabeling of the breakfast room as a restaurant. Please update this info! The beds are not comfortable at all. With some TLC this place would be perfect

The location to the beach, marina, bakery and several restaurants. The room view was facing the marina, loved it! The breakfast was sufficient to start our day.

We did not know that we needed to talk to the front desk about Air conditioning. We kept the sliding door and room door open for cross-breeze ventilation.

This was a comfortable place to stay with a very helpful reception-desk staff. The location is exceptional.

Parking is difficult with few, tight spaces.

Go here if the only thing you care about is nice niew of the ocean

- there is no air circulation and no AC in the rooms. Its bloody impossible to sleep because its too hot. With full windows open you are bitten by mosquitos non stop. We got no rest at all.- terrible breakfast - broken coffee machine, cold and tasteless scrambled eggs, tasteless orange juice. Most of the people bring their own food.- it seems they are just trying to sqeeze last bits of this place before closing, everything is runned down. Bathtub doesnt close, ceilings has spots, wall is damaged. Coffee machine was already broken on May (looking at reviews) and its still not fixed in August.

This honestly was the dirtiest hotel i have been to in 20 years of travel! Maids are load and rude. They banged and made noise with everything they did.

Everything needs to be repaired. Air conditioning does not work they don’t have fans to help with humidity They doors looks dont lock unless you slams the door. You hear door slams at all hours of the day and night Parking area unorganized and limited. They love to pass the concern to their colleagues. But then you address and no one knows anything!! Bath rooms are dated vents dont work. And did i mention they dont clean well!! Breakfast was disgusting. Eggs should not be watery and grey. And if you go past 9. The dont not replenish. And check breadbasket there were ants crawling in it And the mold over the patio door is a bonus!At the pool. Some took off some dirty bandaids by the pool and those bandaids stayed there in edge of pool ledge for the full 6 days i was there ( i canceled my second week and moved to a different hotel)

Beautiful location on the beach. Lovely room and best breakfast.

You had to pay for coffee pods if you wanted to use the coffee machine in the room.

Location was beautiful. Breakfast was easy and hot and good. Beds were comfy.

I wish there had been a fan in the bathroom.

This hotel has a perfect location. Seawiew restaurant with nice and rich breakfast. The price/ value is really good. The staff, including cleaners, restaurant staff, reception guys all of them were super helpful. You really get value for your money hereNote: we were in February

The sockets are placed far from beds, a bit unpractical. The same applies to the bathroom.

Weak breakfast

For the first time in one of numerous booking, I was quite disappointed by the hotel. So it’s hard to select one thing that I liked. The only one thing coming to my mind : the employees at the reception were nice, so thanks to them for their understanding and support.

I really don’t know where to start. This hotel is just sad : on the photos it looks nice and welcoming, with a nice view on the seaside, everything looks goods. But first disappointment : the photos and the reality don’t match. The « seaside » view (part of the booking agreement) is just a « roundabout view » if you are on the first floor (see photo). The toilet were not working properly. The water from the shower was cold. The curtains has mould. It’s smelly. The breakfast is really poor. The common area miss some reparation and cleaning (many lights no working on the corridor, sofa not clean, air conditioning not working properly, etc…). After 2 nights in these conditions, we’ve been moved to another room which was better, but still having some issues (mould on the curtains / coffee machine available but without cup, coffee or tea / …). I don’t like to give bad reviews and I’m everytime trying to find positives things, but in that case, I really want to share that as the description and photos are not matching with the reality and we were quite disappointed by our stay there.

Location

We booked a room with aircon and it didn't work (from the second night we got a fan) even though we asked to change rooms and the hotel didn't seem full. On the 4 nights, I've seen 3 hotel staff (2 at the reception and 1 at breakfast). In general, the hotel and our room were dirty. No privacy on the balcony

The stay was amazing. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, breathtaking view, spacious chill areas inside the hotel, nice pool, beach nearby and so clean… thumbs up!

The location was awesome.. right on the beach with a pool. Next to the marina.. very relaxing, The staff was great.. the location was great.. I can't say enough good things. Shout out to Luigi.. he was a great host.. all the staff was excellent.

There's really nothing terrible to say. You have to walk up a lot of stairs, and the breakfast gets old, but it's great if you are a budget travler.. . .. but I really couldn't have been happier with my stay..

The location

AC was not working! One window so no airflow and no fan! The director wrote to us stating that it was taken off the amenities list but I have confirmation of it being an amenity which is why I booked the suite. Manager on site stated we would receive a 15% refund of the night stay through booking.com but when we returned from our trip, the director wrote stating otherwise. Poor management. Great for clients that can stay with hostel like amenities.

Amazing location and lovely pool.

No bar. Air conditioning didn’t work properly. No kettle in the room.

The receptionists were very kind, provided us some extra things and let us use hotel area till our shuttle to the airport. Thanks a lot guys ☺️

Near the beach, good access for atractions on Sao Miguel. The swiming pool was useful for the kids.

The breakfast, just gives you depression. Refilling is not done often, very few option to chose.
